Tyler Glasnow, Roki Sasaki, Emmet Sheehan and Blake Snell, Dodgers
Glasnow (right shoulder inflammation) threw two simulated innings against Minor League hitters on June 17 at Dodger Stadium. Per manager Dave Roberts, his next step could be beginning a rehab assignment.
On June 15, Roberts said that Sasaki (right shoulder impingement) recently stopped playing catch and has no timeline to resume throwing. While the Dodgers are not counting out a potential return for Sasaki later in the season, Roberts said that the mindset should be to plan on "life without him."
Sheehan (Tommy John surgery) is expected to make his first MLB start since 2023 on June 18.
Snell (left shoulder inflammation) continued his bullpen progression by throwing in the 'pen on June 16.
Tylor Megill, Brett Baty, Mark Vientos, Frankie Montas, Jose Siri and Sean Manaea, Mets
The Mets placed Megill on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow sprain on June 17.
Baty (right groin tightness) tweaked his groin pursuing a foul ball in the Mets' June 15 loss to the Rays. He received treatment on the team's June 16 off-day and performed baseball activities on the field June 17, but remained out of the starting lineup.
Vientos (low-grade right hamstring strain) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse on June 17.
Montas (high-grade right lat strain) will make one more start on June 18, after which time his rehab window will expire, forcing the Mets to make a decision.
Siri (fractured left tibia) had a setback in his rehab after new imaging showed the bone hadn't healed as well as the Mets hoped. He was performing baseball activities, including batting practice, but Mets have paused those and will re-image his leg in late June.
Manaea (strained right oblique) allowed four earned runs in 2 1/3 innings in his third rehab start on June 15 for High-A Brooklyn.
Shota Imanaga, Eli Morgan and Porter Hodge, Cubs
Imanaga (left hamstring strain) was slated for a bullpen session in Arizona on June 17 before likely getting the start for Triple-A Iowa on June 20.
Morgan (right elbow) is scheduled to pitch for Triple-A Iowa on June 17. He made his first rehab outing (1 IP) at Rookie-level ACL on June 14.
Hodge (left hip impingement) is slated to pitch again for Triple-A Iowa on June 17. He threw one scoreless inning to begin his Minor League rehab assignment on June 13.
Nathan Eovaldi, Josh Smith and Tyler Mahle, Rangers
Eovaldi (right triceps fatigue) threw another bullpen session June 17 at Globe Life Field. The plan is for him to throw in live BP on June 21 at Pittsburgh, then return to the big league rotation if all goes well.
Manager Bruce Bochy said Smith is dealing with a “hamstring thing,” which he felt against the White Sox on June 15. He’s day to day, and the Rangers don’t think it’ll require an IL stint.
Mahle was placed on the 15-day IL on June 15 -- retroactive to June 12 -- with right shoulder fatigue.
Luke Weaver and Luis Gil, Yankees
Weaver (left hamstring strain) tossed a simulated game of four "outs" on June 17 at Yankee Stadium. The club will decide his next steps around June 19. Weaver could be activated without a rehab assignment.
Gil (right lat strain) is about 10-14 days out from facing live hitters as of June 14 per manager Aaron Boone.
Shane McClanahan, Rays
McClanahan (left triceps nerve irritation) met with Dr. Gregory J. Pearl in Texas on June 17, and "all of his reports were good" during that visit. Played catch from 125 feet on June 17. Rays plan to have him resume bullpen sessions soon.
Cole Ragans, Royals
Ragans (left rotator cuff strain) was expected to receive a second opinion on his shoulder June 17 in Texas, which will help determine how long he'll be shut down from throwing.
Jackson Merrill and Yu Darvish, Padres
Merrill was placed on the 7-day concussion IL on June 15. Just one day earlier, Merrill departed the Padres' game against the D-backs early after receiving a hard tag on the head while being thrown out at second base. He spent several minutes on the ground in obvious pain before walking off.
Darvish (right elbow inflammation) felt good after a June 14 sim game and is expected to throw another on June 20, manager Mike Shildt said.
Justin Verlander and Jerar Encarnacion, Giants
Verlander (right pec strain) is expected to come off the injured list and start against the Guardians on June 18.
Encarnacion was placed on the IL prior to the Giants' series opener against the Guardians on June 17 with a left oblique strain.
Lance McCullers Jr. and Chas McCormick, Astros
McCullers was placed on the injured list on June 16 (retroactive to June 13) with a right foot sprain. He is expected to start throwing from flat ground by late in the week of June 16.
McCormick (left oblique strain) is "progressing very well," per manager Joe Espada, and could begin taking live at-bats late in the week of June 16. He will likely require a rehab assignment.
Brandon Woodruff, Garrett Mitchell and Blake Perkins, Brewers
Woodruff threw a bullpen session on June 15 for the first time since being struck on the right elbow by a comebacker during a rehab start on June 3. He "felt good" after throwing 25 pitches.
Mitchell (left oblique tightness) and Perkins (right shin fracture) both began rehab assignments with the ACL Brewers on June 14 and could be transferred to Triple-A Nashville after about a week.
Ryan Jeffers and Royce Lewis, Twins
Jeffers left the June 17 game against the Reds with a right hand contusion. X-rays came back negative.
Lewis, whose season debut was delayed until May due to a left hamstring strain, suffered the same injury while running to first base on June 13 against the Astros. An MRI revealed only a mild strain, and he was placed on the 10-day IL on June 15.
Graham Ashcraft, Hunter Greene and Austin Hays, Reds
Ashcraft was placed on the injured list on June 17 with a right groin strain.
Greene (Grade 1 right groin strain/back soreness) is facing a lengthy stint on the IL. He has received an epidural to treat his back and will travel to Arizona for rehab and treatment for both injuries.
Hays (left foot contusion) is still feeling the pain of a deep bone bruise as of June 13 and has been shut down from running or baseball activity for a couple of days.
Bowden Francis, Jonathan Clase, Myle Straw and Max Scherzer, Blue Jays
The Blue Jays placed Francis on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to June 15) with a right shoulder impingement before their June 17 game against the D-backs.
Clase left the Blue Jays' game on June 17 in the top of the fifth inning after being hit by a pitch on his right knee in the bottom of the fourth. He was diagnosed with a right knee contusion.
Straw exited the Blue Jays' June 17 game after colliding with the wall in center field on a catch attempt in the top of the fifth inning. He was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain.
Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) threw 56 pitches over 4 1/3 innings of two-run ball with four strikeouts in his June 13 rehab outing for Triple-A Buffalo. He will make his next rehab start on June 18.
Bryce Miller and Victor Robles, Mariners
Miller (right elbow inflammation) recently received a platelet-rich plasma injection to address the bone spur in his pitching elbow. He is not currently considering surgery.
Robles (left shoulder dislocation) has begun the strength-building portion of his rehab, which would last roughly six weeks then be followed by baseball activities. His return will likely come toward the end of the season.
Dane Myers, Marlins
Myers (left elbow discomfort) left the June 16 game against the Phillies after being hit by a pitch on his left elbow. X-rays came back negative and he remained out of the lineup on June 17.
Bryce Harper, Phillies
Harper (right wrist inflammation) did not travel with the team for its four-game series against Miami. According to manager Rob Thomson, the Phillies felt he could get "more work done" on his wrist if he remained in Philadelphia.
Cade Povich, Grayson Rodriguez and Tyler O'Neill, Orioles
Povich was placed on the injured list on June 16 with right hip inflammation.
Rodriguez (right elbow inflammation/right lat strain) has routinely been throwing off flat ground and expects to move to the mound during the week of June 16. He is optimistic about a return in the second half of the season.
O'Neill (left shoulder impingement) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on June 7 but has since been shut down again.
Jackson Jobe and Will Vest, Tigers
Jobe will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery early in the week of June 16 after consultation with doctors and will miss at least the rest of 2025.
Vest left Detroit's game on June 15 after reporting feeling something in his right pinky finger on his final pitch, a wild pitch to the backstop. He was expected to undergo a battery of tests, according to manager A.J. Hinch.
Trevor Stephan and Shane Bieber, Guardians
Stephan (right UCL reconstruction surgery) made an appearance with Triple-A Columbus on June 17 following two appearances in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League (June 10 and 13).
Bieber (right UCL tear) met with Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas the week of June 9 and determined that his elbow soreness was not structural. He is set to resume his throwing program the week of June 16.
Kyle Freeland, Rockies
Freeland was placed on the 15-day IL on June 15 -- retroactive to June 12 -- with low back stiffness.
