Status: Underwent surgery on July 1 to repair a torn right shoulder capsule. Threw live batting practice June 13 in West Palm Beach, Fla. (updated June 14)
3B Isaac Paredes
Injury: Left hamstring strain
Expected return: Day to day
Status: One day after being removed from a game when he injured his hamstring running to first, Paredes underwent an MRI and said the results were encouraging, giving him hope he could return soon. (updated June 13)
OF Chas McCormick
Injury: Left oblique strain
IL date: May 31 (10-day IL, retroactive to May 30)
Expected return: July
Status: McCormick, who strained his oblique swinging the bat on May 29, swung a bat for the first time since the injury on June 13. (updated June 13)

Injury: Capsule strain left hand

Status: Felt discomfort in his hand after a swing in his last at-bat May 31 against the Rays and had an MRI the following day, which revealed a capsule strain. He will undergo more imaging in mid-June. (updated June 5)
