RHP Ryan Pepiot
Injury: General fatigue
Expected return: Sept. 16 vs. Toronto
Status: Scratched from his start on Sept. 10 due to general body fatigue, but threw a 10-15 pitch bullpen Sept. 13 and came out feeling “back to normal.” (updated Sept. 14)
OF Jonny DeLuca
Injury: Left hamstring strain
IL date: Aug. 8 (retroactive to Aug. 7, transferred to 60-day IL on Sept. 13)
Expected return: 2026

Injury: Fractured left wrist
IL date: Aug. 1 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Possibly September
Status: Collided with Giancarlo Stanton at first base on July 31. Has begun playing catch and hitting off a tee. Had an encouraging follow-up appointment on Sept. 10, but manager Kevin Cash is "not totally sure” if he will return this season. (updated Sept. 10) More >>
RHP Brian Van Belle
Injury: Right elbow inflammation
IL date: Sept. 6 (transferred to 60-day IL on Sept. 9)

Status: Felt "pulling sensation" on inside of his throwing elbow near the end of Sept. 5 outing. Manager Kevin Cash said it looks “like a UCL sprain.” (updated Sept. 9)
RHP Mason Englert
Injury: Right shoulder impingement

Status: Pitched two scoreless innings on Sept. 3 but was placed on the IL on Sept. 7, with the assignment made retroactive to Sept. 4. (updated Sept. 7)
SS Taylor Walls
Injury: Left groin strain
IL date: Aug. 12
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent season-ending core muscle surgery after visiting a specialist, Dr. William Meyers, on Sept. 3. Had started running and doing some strengthening exercises previously but still felt "mild discomfort" in back and left groin. Should be ready for Spring Training. (updated Sept. 4)

Injury: Right lat strain, facial fractures

Injury: Thoracic outlet syndrome

Status: Sidelined since March with right shoulder inflammation, Faedo's rehab assignment was halted in July, and he recently underwent season-ending thoracic outlet syndrome surgery. (updated Aug. 19)

Injury: Right forearm strain, elbow soreness
