Injury: Right flexor strain

Expected return: mid-August
Status: Agnos said his rest and treatment will continue until he can undergo an MRI. Agnos exited in the seventh inning of the Rockies' loss to the O's on July 26. (updated July 28)
RHP Germán Márquez
Injury: Right biceps tendinitis
IL date: July 23 (retroactive to July 21)
Expected return: TBD
Status: There is no timeline on Márquez’s return. He played catch at 105 feet on July 28 and said he hopes to be cleared to throw a bullpen soon. (updated July 28) More >>
INF Ryan Ritter
Injury: Lacerated right middle finger
IL date: July 20
Expected return: TBA
Status: Ritter said that two of the three stitches in the finger have been removed, and the other he hopes to have removed soon. Swelling has decreased. (updated July 28)
DH Kris Bryant
Injury: Lumbar degenerative disk disease
IL date: April 14 (60-day IL, retroactive to April 13)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Bryant plans to consult with a New York doctor on July 7 and will soon see a specialist in Dallas to possibly try “experimental treatments.” The only surgical option is a fusion surgery, which would make continuing to play difficult. (updated July 6) More >>
RHP Jeff Criswell
Injury: Torn right elbow ligament
IL date: March 27 (transferred to 60-day IL on April 14)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Criswell underwent Tommy John surgery on March 14 and will miss the season. (updated April 14)
