Injury: Low-grade right hamstring strain
IL date: June 3 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Late June
Status: Suffered a low-grade hamstring strain in the 10th inning of the Mets' June 2 win over the Dodgers. Has been progressing steadily and is set to begin a Minor League rehab assignment the week of June 16. (updated June 14)
RHP Frankie Montas
Injury: High-grade right lat strain
IL date: March 27 (60-day IL, retroactive to March 24)
Expected return: Late June
Status: Allowed eight earned runs in his fifth rehab outing for Triple-A Syracuse on June 13, bloating his Minor League ERA to 13.17. Will make one more start the week of June 16, after which time his rehab window will expire, forcing the Mets to make a decision. (updated June 14) More >>
RHP Kodai Senga
Injury: Right hamstring strain
IL date: June 13 (15-day IL)
Expected return: TBD
Status: MRI on June 13 showed a Grade 1 hamstring strain (low grade). Will be shut down for two weeks then re-evaluated. Injured his hamstring covering first base in a June 12 game against the Nationals. (updated June 13) More >>

Injury: Fractured left tibia
IL date: April 17 (10-day IL)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Had a setback in his rehab after new imaging showed the bone hadn't healed as well as the Mets hoped. Was performing baseball activities, including batting practice, but Mets have paused those and will re-image his leg in late June. Will need a Minor League rehab assignment before activation. OF Jesse Winker
Injury: Right oblique strain
IL date: May 5 (10-day IL)
Expected return: July
Status: Is going through hitting progressions but is still multiple weeks away from a Minor League rehab assignment. Exited Mets' May 4 game against the Cardinals due to right side discomfort stemming from a throw back to the infield. (updated June 13)
LHP Brooks Raley
Injury: Recovery from Tommy John surgery
IL date: April 29 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Late July
Status: Has been pitching live batting practice and could begin rehab assignment during week of June 16. Will need full Spring Training-style ramp-up, potentially a full 30-day rehab assignment. Has been on IL since re-signing with the Mets on April 29. (updated June 13) More >>

Injury: Strained right oblique
IL date: March 27 (60-day IL, retroactive to March 24)
Expected return: Late June or early July
Status: Began Minor League rehab assignment June 6 in Brooklyn and made two starts. Will need several rehab outings, including next one June 15, to build up workload before activation. (updated June 11) More >>
RHP Drew Smith
Injury: Recovery from Tommy John surgery with internal brace
IL date: Feb. 13 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Late 2025 or 2026
Status: Injured his elbow in June 2024 and underwent surgery the following month. Subsequently signed a one-year deal with a 2026 team option to return to the Mets, who are overseeing his rehab in hopes of having him back in their bullpen as soon as late September or October. (updated May 26)
LHP A.J. Minter
Injury: Left lat surgery
IL date: April 27 (60-day IL)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent season-ending surgery May 12 in Chicago after tearing his lat muscle off the bone. Hopes to have a normal Spring Training in 2026. (updated May 17) More >>

Injury: Left elbow ligament sprain
IL date: April 30 (60-day IL, retroactive to April 27)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent an MRI on April 30 that revealed a sprain. Subsequently decided to undergo Tommy John surgery, which will cost him the rest of this season and part of 2026. (updated May 4) More >>
INF Nick Madrigal
Injury: Fractured left shoulder
IL date: Feb. 24 (60-day IL)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Dislocated and fractured his shoulder during a Feb. 23 Grapefruit League game and subsequently underwent season-ending surgery. Under team control through 2026, should the Mets decide to tender him a contract. (updated March 12) More >>
RHP Christian Scott
Injury: Sprained UCL in right elbow
IL date: March 27 (60-day IL)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent a hybrid Tommy John surgery in September 2024 and will almost certainly miss all of 2025. Began throwing for the first time again on March 11. (updated March 12)
