Royce Lewis and Byron Buxton, Twins
Lewis, whose season debut was delayed until May due to a left hamstring strain, suffered the same injury while running to first base on June 13 against the Astros. An MRI revealed only a mild strain, and he was placed on the 10-day IL on June 15.
Buxton left the Twins' June 14 game with a left elbow contusion after being hit by a pitch in the top of the 6th.
Jackson Merrill and Yu Darvish, Padres
Merrill was placed on the 7-day concussion IL on June 15. Just one day earlier, Merrill departed the Padres' game against the D-backs early after receiving a hard tag on the head while being thrown out at second base. He spent several minutes on the ground in obvious pain before walking off.
Darvish (right elbow inflammation) reported feeling good after throwing a simulated game on June 14.
Logan Gilbert, Bryce Miller and Victor Robles, Mariners
Gilbert (right elbow flexor strain) will be activated off the 15-day IL to start Monday's game against the Red Sox, manager Dan Wilson said on June 15. He is expected to have a "longer leash" after completing five innings on 72 pitches in his final rehab start with Triple-A Tacoma on June 11.
Miller (right elbow inflammation) recently received a platelet-rich plasma injection to address the bone spur in his pitching elbow. He is not currently considering surgery.
Robles (left shoulder dislocation) has begun the strength-building portion of his rehab, which would last roughly six weeks then be followed by baseball activities. His return will likely come toward the end of the season.
Brandon Woodruff, Garrett Mitchell and Blake Perkins, Brewers
Woodruff threw a bullpen session on June 15 for the first time since being struck on the right elbow by a comebacker during a rehab start on June 3. He "felt good" after throwing 25 pitches.
Mitchell (left oblique tightness) and Perkins (right shin fracture) both began rehab assignments with the ACL Brewers on June 14 and could be transferred to Triple-A Nashville after about a week.
Giancarlo Stanton, Luis Gil and Jake Cousins, Yankees
Stanton (epicondylitis in both elbows) had his June 14 rehab appearance called off due to inclement weather. Manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that the Yankees expect Stanton to return during the Angels series beginning June 16.
Gil (right lat strain) is about 10-14 days out from facing live hitters as of June 14 per Boone.
Cousins (right forearm strain) had been on a Minor League rehab assignment until June 11, when he was returned due to an apparent right UCL injury. He is likely to undergo Tommy John, but that decision has not been finalized.
Tyler Mahle, Evan Carter and Nathan Eovaldi, Rangers
Mahle was placed on the 15-day IL on June 15 -- retroactive to June 12 -- with right shoulder fatigue.
Carter left in the seventh inning of the Rangers' June 13 game with right wrist soreness after making a diving catch to rob a hit in the fourth. The club is awaiting the results of diagnostic tests.
Eovaldi (right triceps fatigue) threw a bullpen session on June 14 and came out of it well per manager Bruce Bochy.
Hunter Greene and Austin Hays, Reds
Greene (Grade 1 right groin strain/back soreness) is facing a lengthy stint on the IL. He has received an epidural to treat his back and will travel to Arizona for rehab and treatment for both injuries.
Hays (left foot contusion) is still feeling the pain of a deep bone bruise as of June 13 and has been shut down from running or baseball activity for a couple of days.
Emmet Sheehan, Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell, Dodgers
Sheehan (Tommy John surgery) is expected to make his first start since 2023 for the Dodgers next week. The 25-year-old right-hander will throw a bullpen session on June 15, after which the team will figure out when it could make sense to activate him from the 60-day injured list.
Glasnow (right shoulder inflammation) threw a simulated inning against live hitters on June 13 at Dodger Stadium for the first time since going on the IL.
Snell (left shoulder inflammation) threw 20-25 pitches, all fastballs, in a bullpen session on June 13.
Kodai Senga, Mark Vientos, Jose Siri, Frankie Montas and Sean Manaea, Mets
Senga suffered a Grade 1 right hamstring strain June 12 against the Nationals. He will be shut down for two weeks before being re-evaluated.
Vientos (low-grade right hamstring strain) is set to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse on June 17.
Siri (fractured left tibia) had a setback in his rehab after new imaging showed the bone hadn't healed as well as the Mets hoped. He was performing baseball activities, including batting practice, but Mets have paused those and will re-image his leg in late June.
Montas (high-grade right lat strain) allowed eight earned runs in 1 2/3 innings in his fifth rehab outing on June 13 for Triple-A Syracuse. He will make one more start before his rehab window expires.
Manaea (strained right oblique) allowed four earned runs in 2 1/3 innings in his third rehab start on June 15 for High-A Brooklyn.
Justin Martinez and A.J. Puk, D-backs
Martinez will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery, D-backs manager Torey Lovullo said June 13. Martinez is expected to miss 12-13 months.
Puk (left elbow inflammation) has paused his throwing program after experiencing discomfort in his elbow and will visit Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles, Lovullo said June 13.
Jonathan India, Royals
India left the Royals' June 13 game in the seventh inning after suffering a left shoulder subluxation on a diving play. He was not in the lineup on June 14 or 15, but he was available off the bench.
Grayson Rodriguez and Tyler O'Neill, Orioles
Rodriguez (right elbow inflammation/right lat strain) has routinely been throwing off flat ground and expects to move to the mound during the week of June 16. He is optimistic about a return in the second half of the season.
O'Neill (left shoulder impingement) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on June 7 but has since been shut down again.
Jackson Jobe, Reese Olson and Matt Vierling, Tigers
Jobe will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery early in the week of June 16 after consultation with doctors and will miss at least the rest of 2025.
Olson (right ring finger inflammation) allowed two runs on two hits with four strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings for Triple-A Toledo on June 14. He needs to build up arm endurance again before he returns.
Vierling (right shoulder inflammation) began a rehab assignment June 13 with Triple-A Toledo. He is limited to DH duties while he continues his throwing progression.
Aaron Nola and Bryce Harper, Phillies
Nola (right ankle sprain/stress fracture in right ribs) is just a few days into a two-week shutdown from throwing as of June 13. He won't resume throwing until the fracture heals -- and until he's pain free.
Harper (right wrist inflammation) took ground balls at first base on June 13 but did not throw and has not swung a bat yet.
Isaac Paredes, Astros
Paredes, removed from the June 12 game when he injured his left hamstring running to first, continues to do work and is improving, manager Joe Espada said. Paredes remains day to day.
Shane Bieber, Guardians
Bieber (right UCL tear) met with Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas the week of June 9 and determined that his elbow soreness was not structural. He is set to resume his throwing program the week of June 16.
Max Scherzer, Daulton Varsho and Anthony Santander, Blue Jays
Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) threw 56 pitches over 4 1/3 innings of two-run ball with four strikeouts in his June 13 rehab outing for Triple-A Buffalo. He will make his next rehab start on June 18.
Varsho (left hamstring strain) continues to make progress with an "uptick in everything," per manager John Schneider on June 13, so a clearer rehab timeline should be expected soon.
Santander (left shoulder inflammation) has started "light baseball activities" but is expected to be behind Varsho's timeline.
Alex Bregman, Tanner Houck, Masataka Yoshida, Wilyer Abreu and Liam Hendriks, Red Sox
Bregman (right quad strain) is running at 50 percent, throwing and working out, he said June 13. An ultrasound showed considerable improvement for Bregman, who is targeting a return before the All-Star break and might not require a rehab assignment.
Houck (right flexor pronator strain) threw an up-and-down session June 13 and could begin a rehab assignment by June 18.
Yoshida (right shoulder labrum tear) turned a corner with his throwing, making throws from left field to second base at increased intensity and velocity during Boston's off-day on June 12.
Abreu (left oblique strain) took some swings at Fenway Park on June 13, and the Red Sox expect he will return during the series in San Francisco that starts on June 20.
Hendriks (right hip inflammation) has started playing catch, but there's no timetable for his return to action.
Matt Chapman and Justin Verlander, Giants
Chapman (right hand inflammation) can begin rehab exercises as early as June 20, the Giants announced after the third baseman met with Dr. Steven Shin on June 13 in Los Angeles.
Verlander (right pec strain) was scheduled for a bullpen session June 14 and could rejoin the rotation during the Giants' upcoming series against the Guardians (June 17-19).
Gunnar Hoglund, Athletics
Hoglund underwent successful surgery to repair his right hip labrum June 13 and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Kyle Freeland, Rockies
Freeland was placed on the 15-day IL on June 15 -- retroactive to June 12 -- with low back stiffness.
