Injury: Right shoulder inflammation

Expected return: August or September
Status: The righty touched the mound for the first time in two months on July 29, playing catch but not throwing a bullpen session, and he felt good. It was a "good first step," according to manager Alex Cora. (Last updated: July 29)
RHP Zack Kelly
Injury: Right oblique strain
IL date: July 4 (15-day IL, retroactive to June 30)
Expected return: Late July/Early August
Status: Threw a scoreless inning in the second appearance of his Minor League rehab assignment for High-A Greenville on July 27 and had his rehab transferred to Triple-A Worcester on July 29. (Last updated: July 29)
