Samuel Basallo, C/1B, Norfolk (BAL No. 1/MLB No. 16)
In his first game behind the dish in 2025, Basallo reminded everyone he can swing it from whatever position he plays. The lefty clubbed two long balls, including a first-inning three-run shot and a 420 foot clout in the third for his first multihomer game of the season. The 20-year-old boosted his slugging percentage to .562 at Triple-A and had three extra-base hits on the night. Gameday

Marcelo Mayer, SS, Worcester (BOS No. 2/MLB No. 8)
Mayer ended his home run drought at the best possible time for Triple-A Worcester. The 22-year-old turned around a one-run deficit with a three-run jack in the ninth inning, capping a two-hit night that also included a walk. Mayer, who has eight roundtrippers this season, had not left the yard in 41 at-bats dating back to April 27. The fourth overall pick in the 2021 Draft has an .842 OPS and 38 RBIs in 34 games. Gameday

Bubba Chandler, RHP, Indianapolis (PIT No. 1/MLB No. 2)
Chandler just keeps bolstering his case for being very close to ready for his shot in The Show. The 22-year-old lowered his ERA to 1.91 with five scoreless innings for Triple-A Indianapolis. Chandler struck out eight during his 86-pitch outing, giving him 49 K's in 33 innings this season. Opponents are batting .168 against the 2021 third-rounder, who hasn't surrendered more than one run in five of his seven starts. Gameday

Dalton Rushing, C/OF, Oklahoma City (LAD No. 1/MLB No. 15)
Rushing shrugged off consecutive hitless games by homering for the fifth time this season and driving in three runs. The Louisville product also singled, walked and scored twice while serving as the DH for Triple-A Oklahoma City. Rushing's productive night boosted his slash line to .308/.424/.514, which includes 11 extra-base hits and 21 walks. Gameday

Noah Schultz, LHP, Birmingham (CWS No. 1/MLB No. 13)
There’s a reason Schultz is the top-ranked left-handed pitching prospect in baseball: he has filthy stuff and he puts it to great use. He displayed that once again in his second victory of the season for Double-A Birmingham. The 6-foot-10 hurler kept opposing batters off balance, racking up a season-high seven strikeouts while allowing just one run in five innings. Gameday

Trey Yesavage, RHP, Dunedin (TOR No. 2/MLB No. 71)
Despite surrendering a first-pitch homer to fellow 2024 first-rounder Konnor Griffin (PIT No. 2/MLB No. 37) to start his outing, Yesavage turned in one of his best starts as a pro. The righty totaled 21 swings-and-misses and a career-high 12 strikeouts without a walk in five innings of two-run ball for Single-A Dunedin. Yesavage has turned in three starts with 10 or more strikeouts this season. Full story | Gameday

Sebastian Walcott, SS/3B, Frisco (TEX No. 1/MLB No. 9)
Walcott kicked off a new week on a positive note by slugging a two-run homer, getting on base three times and swiping a bag for Double-A Frisco. The 19-year-old has reached safely in nine of 10 games this month and he continues to get on base at a solid clip (.352 OBP) with 19 walks in 32 games. Gameday

Harry Ford, C, Tacoma (SEA No. 5/MLB No. 67)
Triple-A Tacoma tallied 13 knocks and nine runs in a six-inning contest, and Harry Ford was right in the thick of it. The 22-year-old matched his career high with a four-hit performance -- the seventh of his career. Ford posted a pair of doubles and a single, but the standout moment was his two-run moonshot in the third inning. The wallop, his second of the season, had an exit velocity of 103.3 mph and traveled 442 feet. Gameday

Carson Whisenhunt, LHP, Sacramento (SF No. 2)
Whisenhunt completed seven innings for a third consecutive start while striking out nine to pick up his third victory of the year. The East Carolina product yielded two hits and did not walk a batter for the second time in three outings, and he's fanned 23 over that span. Whisenhunt carries a deceptive, but solid 3.48 ERA through eight outings. The 24-year-old surrendered 11 runs over 6 1/3 frames across two stars last month but has a 1.43 ERA in his other six appearances. Gameday

Zach Cole, OF, Corpus Christi (HOU No. 21)
Colin Barber, OF, Corpus Christi (Unranked)
Cole and Barber combined on one of the best offensive outputs by a pair of Minor Leaguers this season. Barber's milestone effort -- the 24-year-old cycled, scored four times and drove in three runs -- was the entrée, but Cole served up dessert. The 24-year-old slugged his first two long balls of the season and drove in a career-high eight runs while falling a triple shy of the cycle. The 1-2 punch atop Double-A Corpus Christi's lineup went 7-for-10 with six extra-base hits, three homers, 11 RBIs and scored seven times. Full story | Gameday
