Injury: Right elbow inflammation

Expected return: No earlier than mid-May
Status: Felt discomfort on April 23 after pitching the night prior. He's seeking a second opinion on the injury and will miss more than the minimum 15 days. (updated April 27)
1B Spencer Horwitz
Injury: Right wrist

Injury: Left shoulder lat muscle strain

Status: Wearing a boot but is now partially weight bearing. He’ll get X-ray imaging by the end of the week to see if he can get out of the boot. Able to play catch in a seated position. Cleared to work on an anti-gravity treadmill. (updated April 23)
C Endy Rodríguez
Injury: Right index finger laceration
IL date: April 15 (10-day)

Status: Received several stitches April 14 after Paul Skenes bounced a curveball in the dirt that deflected off Nats outfielder James Wood and struck Rodríguez. He is cleared to do some baseball activities. (updated April 23)
RHP Jared Jones
Injury: Right UCL sprain
IL date: March 31 (60-day IL, retroactive to March 24)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Reported discomfort after a March 16 bullpen session. Suffered no structural damage and will not need surgery, but will not pick up a baseball for six weeks. Has begun a two-handed plyo program and will have repeat imaging done this week. (updated April 23) More >>
