PIRATES CHARITIES FAMILY WALK AT PNC PARK

Fourth annual Pirates Charities Family Walk

2025 Pirates Charities Family Walk at PNC Park

Over 1,000 people gathered at PNC Park on Saturday May 24 to participate in the 4th annual Pirates Charities Family Walk, presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, which benefitted Pirates Charities and AHN Mental Health programming. Pirates coaches and players Don Kelly, Matt Hague, Jordan Comadena, Tarrik Brock, Issac Mattson, Nick Solak, and Tanner Rainey joined fans to come together in support of improving our community’s mental health and raising awareness around the importance of having conversations about mental wellness. Following the two-mile walk around the best ballpark in America, fans enjoyed a carnival style party on the Highmark Riverwalk. The carnival included games, activities, and different local mental health nonprofits, which all provided participants with information on how to find helpful resources and services.
