To pay tribute to both the 10 and 40 year anniversaries of our Royals World Championships, we’ll be taking over Union Station for a special reunion decades in the making.
This once-in-a-lifetime event will feature the very best from the club’s two championship seasons, including special player appearances, seated dinner, commemorative programming, and so much more.

Friday, May 16 – World Series Championship Anniversary Pre-Game Ceremony & On-Field Reunion
We turned back the clocks for an extra special celebration before our May 16th game against the Cardinals where we honored the 1985 Royals with a Champions Weekend pre-game on-field ceremony prior to first pitch with members of the 1985 team.
It’s been 40 years since the Royals 1985 World Championship, and we immortalized that amazing moment with a George Brett & Bret Saberhagen 1985 Championship Bobblehead included with the purchase of a theme ticket.
Saturday, May 17 – 2015 World Series Championship Anniversary Pre-Game Ceremony & On-Field Reunion
The I-70s Series returned to The K on Saturday, May 17 at 6:10 pm. and this time, when the Royals battled the Cardinals, fans could take home some extra hardware. The first 25,000 fans received a commemorative 2015 World Series Championship Replica Ring.
Fans also enjoyed a Champions Weekend pre-game on-field ceremony prior to first pitch featuring members of the 2015 Royals.
Saturday, May 31 – Mike Moustakas Retirement Celebration
Thank you for joining us at The K to celebrate Moose’s retirement as a Royal! On Saturday, May 31, the Royals battled the AL Central rival Tigers. But first, we had an on-field retirement celebration as 2015 World Series Champion Mike Moustakas retired in Royal blue.
