Wednesday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Lansing Lugnuts (ATH) @ Great Lakes Loons (LAD)
No prospect made headlines at the Trade Deadline like brand-new Lugnuts infielder Leo De Vries (ATH No. 1/MLB No. 3), who became one of the highest-ranked prospects ever traded when he arrived in the A's organization via the Mason Miller deal. De Vries and his new squad take on a talented Loons team featuring outfielder Zyhir Hope (LAD No. 2/MLB No. 30) among others.
Wednesday, 10:05 p.m. ET -- Hillsboro Hops (AZ) @ Vancouver Canadians (TOR)
This matchup features a pair of talented 19-year-olds out west, as outfielder Slade Caldwell (AZ No. 2/MLB No. 73) leads Hillsboro against shortstop Arjun Nimmala (TOR No. 1/MLB No. 45) in the late game. Nimmala is showing the dual power/speed threat he can be, entering play this week with 12 homers and 14 stolen bases on the year.
Thursday, 12:05 p.m. ET -- Buffalo Bisons (TOR) @ Worcester Red Sox (BOS)
What do you know? The Red Sox have another surging prospect. After promoting their three high-profile prospects to the big leagues earlier this year, Boston now has outfielder Jhostynxon Garcia (BOS No. 2/MLB No. 88) knocking down the door. The man they call "The Password" entered the week with 15 homers in 54 games at Triple-A, including four last week. The Bisons lineup also features a talented Venezuelan outfielder in Yohendrick Pinango (TOR No. 6), who entered the week with 14 dingers on the season hit across two levels.
Thursday, 9:45 p.m. ET -- Sugar Land Space Cowboys (HOU) @ Sacramento River Cats (SF)
This matchup might feature the most dangerous hitter in the Minor Leagues in River Cats slugger Bryce Eldridge (SF No. 1/MLB No. 17). Known for hitting tape-measure blasts, San Francisco's surging top prospect entered the week with seven homers in his last 12 games. Eldridge is known for hitting tape-measure blasts. Sugar Land's lineup is anchored by talented infielder Brice Matthews (HOU No. 1/MLB No. 86), who had a .398 on-base percentage and 874 OPS at Triple-A before a recent 11-game stint in Houston.
Friday, 6:05 p.m. ET -- Richmond Flying Squirrels (SF) @ Erie SeaWolves (DET)
The SeaWolves are a treasure of talent, with four Top 100 prospects on the roster including surefire shortstop Kevin McGonigle (DET No. 1/MLB No. 6) up the middle and at the top of the lineup. But don't sleep on Richmond and Bo Davidson (SF No. 5), who recently hit his way to Double-A, arriving at the level with great numbers. The 23-year-old outfielder entered the week hitting .298/.396/.489 with 12 homers and 14 steals this season across two levels.
Saturday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Frisco RoughRiders (TEX) @ Arkansas Travelers (SEA)
Double-A: Meet Jurrangelo Cijntje (SEA No. 8/MLB No. 70). The sport's only switch-pitcher will make his team debut at the level after a very impressive first half-season in pro ball at High-A, where he struck out 83 batters in 74 2/3 IP and pitched to a .201 opponent average. His first test will be performing against a Frisco lineup rife with dangerous bats, none more than potential five-tool shortstop Sebastian Walcott (TEX No. 1/MLB No. 4).
Sunday, 5:05 p.m. ET -- Binghamton Rumble Ponies (NYM) @ Somerset Patriots (NYY)
What better way to cap the week than the way it began? The Sunday matinee is a rematch of Tuesday's matchup between New York affiliates, with dynamic righty Jonah Tong (NYM No. 2/MLB No. 52) again set to toe the rubber opposite George Lombard Jr. (NYY No. 1/MLB No. 29) and the Patriots' lineup. Behind Tong, the Rumble Ponies also sport impact position players Carson Benge (NYM No. 4/MLB No. 68) and Jett Williams (NYM No. 1/MLB No. 38), making this matchup so good we needed to see it twice.
