White, who turns 21 on Sept. 29, began the year at High-A Beloit -- the same level he ended his first full professional season in ‘24. After posting a 2.83 ERA across nine starts for the Sky Carp, White moved up to the Double-A level and performed even better.

In 10 starts for Pensacola, White lowered his ERA to 1.59 and increased his K/9 rate to 14.9. His last start on Saturday, when he tossed five hitless and scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts, garnered Southern League Pitcher of the Week honors.

White will not only be one level away from the big leagues but he also will be joining the Marlins’ Triple-A affiliate ahead of its International League postseason series, which is scheduled for later this month. White, whom the Marlins selected 35th overall in the 2023 Draft, also pitched for Single-A Jupiter during its Florida State League title run that year.
