Triple-A
The 2025 Triple-A National Championship Game, which will feature the winners of the best-of-three International League and Pacific Coast League Championship Series in a single-game format, will be played on Saturday, September 27th in Las Vegas and crown an overall winner of the highest level of the Minor Leagues.
Each Triple-A season will be split into two halves, with the first half ending on June 22 and the second half commencing June 24. The regular season will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 21. Following an off day on Monday, Sept, 22, the first-half winners will serve as the hosts of the pair of best-of-three LCS, which are slated to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 23. The winners of the two LCS will advance to Las Vegas Ballpark, which will host the Triple-A Championship Game for the fourth consecutive season.
In the event of any ties, the following tiebreakers will apply in the order below:
1. Head-to-head record between the clubs in the respective half (if three or more Clubs, best winning percentage in games among the Clubs).
2. If the Clubs remain tied, best overall winning percentage over the last 20 games.
3. If the Clubs remain tied, best overall winning percentage over an additional game (i.e., the last 21 games, the last 22 games, etc.) until one emerges with a better winning percentage in that span of games.
Double-A, High-A, Single-A
The format for the 2025 Postseason at Double-A, High-A and Single-A will consist of four teams per league in a best-of-3 Division series, followed by a best-of-three Championship series. The four playoff participants per league will be the winners of each division from both halves based on the best winning percentage of each half. In the event the same Club wins both halves, the Club with the next best winning percentage in the second half will advance.
However, with only six clubs in the Northwest League, the format for the Postseason will consist of a single, best-of-five Championship series. The two playoff participants will be decided based on the best winning percentage of each half. In the event the same Club wins both halves, the Club with the next best winning percentage in the second half will advance.
Rookie Leagues
Complex Leagues
Format and Participating Clubs: The Complex League postseason will consist of four teams participating in a two-round tournament (single-game Semifinal Round and best-of-three Final Round).
The four postseason participants will be the winners of each of three divisions and one wild card team. The division winners will be based on winning percentage at the end of the championship season. The wild card team will be the team with the best winning percentage other than the three division winners.
The four postseason participants will be seeded based on winning percentage, regardless of their status as division winners or wild card. The matchups in each round will be determined based on seeding (i.e., highest seed vs. lowest seed, second highest seed vs. third highest seed). Absent weather-related adjustments, the higher seed will host the lower seed in the single-game Semifinal Round. In the best-of-three Final Round, the lower seed will host game one with the higher seed hosting games two and, if necessary, game three.
Tiebreakers: In the event of any ties, the following tiebreakers will apply in the order below:
- Head-to-head record (if three or more teams, best winning percentage in games among the teams).
- If the teams remain tied, best overall winning percentage over the last 20 games.
- If the teams remain tied, best overall winning percentage over an additional game (the last 21 games, the last 22 games, etc.) until one emerges with a better winning percentage in that span of games.

DSL Postseason (“DSL Cup”)
Format and Participating Clubs. The DSL Cup will consist of sixteen teams participating in a two-stage tournament (Pool Play and Championship Bracket). In Pool Play, the sixteen teams will be divided into four pools of four teams each and will participate in a round-robin competition. The team with the best record in each pool will advance to the Championship Bracket, which will consist of two rounds (best-of-three Semifinal and Final Rounds).
Each division winner will qualify for the DSL Cup. The division winners will be based on winning percentage at the end of the championship season. After the division winners have qualified, Wild Card Clubs will be selected in order of winning percentage until a total of sixteen teams have qualified for the DSL Cup. For example, when the Dominican Summer League consists of eight divisions, there will be eight division winners and, after selection of the division winners, the eight remaining teams with the best winning percentages will qualify for the DSL Cup.
Clubs will be seeded for Pool Play based on winning percentage at the end of the championship season, regardless of their status as division winners or Wild Card. Pools will then be divided based on seeding, as follows:
Pool Seeds
A -- 1, 8, 9, 16
B -- 2, 7, 10, 15
C -- 3, 6, 11, 14
D -- 4, 5, 12, 13
Each Club will play one game against each of the other Clubs in its pool. The team with the best record in each pool will advance to the Championship Bracket (i.e., four Clubs will advance to the Championship Bracket).
The Championship Bracket will consist of two rounds: the Semifinal and the Final Round. Each round will consist of a best-of-three series. In the Semifinal Round, the highest seed to advance from Pool Play will play against the lowest seed to advance from Pool Play, and the second highest seed to advance from Pool Play will play against the third highest seed to advance from Pool Play. The two Clubs to advance from the Semifinal Round will play each other in the best-of-three Final Round to determine the Dominican Summer League champion. Absent weather-related adjustments, the higher seed will host game one and, if necessary, game three of each series. The lower seed will host game two.
