Two of the game's best young pitchers played the part with dominant starts while stealing some of the spotlight from their offensive counterparts. There were more multihomer games -- including a trio of jacks from a Clingstone -- among plenty of action from another day in the Minors:

Bubba Chandler, RHP, Indianapolis (PIT No. 1/MLB No. 14)
Chandler's march to the Steel City took another giant step forward with his latest strong outing for Triple-A Indianapolis. The 22-year-old struck out a season-high nine while allowing one run on three hits over five innings to pick up his second win. Chandler, who sports a 1.42 ERA and a 0.67 WHIP, has surrendered one run or fewer in five of his first six starts while striking out 36 in 25 1/3 innings. Gameday
Trey Yesavage, RHP, Dunedin (TOR No. 2/MLB No. 84)
Yesavage followed up a pair of 10-strikeout performances by fanning eight over a professional-high six scoreless frames. The 2024 first-rounder did not issue a walk and scattered four hits while equaling his season high with 76 pitches (59 for strikes). Yesavage continues to be a tough task for opponents, who are batting just .171 with one extra-base hit against the 21-year-old. The East Carolina product has a 2.31 ERA, a 0.90 WHIP and 36 K's in 23 1/3 innings. Gameday
Max Clark, OF, West Michigan (DET No. 2/MLB No. 5)
Clark did his job as leadoff man for High-A West Michigan, matching his professional high with four hits in five at-bats. The 20-year-old scored once and although he didn't walk for a second straight game after earning eight free passes in the six contests before that, he increased his OBP to .467 to go along with a .301 average. Gameday
Carson Williams, Durham, SS (TB No. 1/MLB No. 8)
It's been a tough start to Williams' Triple-A career, but the 21-year-old might be finding his footing. Williams hit a solo homer, singled and scored three runs during his first multihit effort since the third game of the season. The San Diego native also walked twice and has hit safely in six of his past nine contests for the Bulls. Gameday
Bryce Eldridge, 1B, Richmond (SF No. 1/MLB No. 22)
A Spring Training wrist injury delayed the start of Eldridge's 2025 season, but the 6-foot-7, 240-pounder appears to be healthy. He drove in a run, doubled and singled twice in his first three-hit game of 2025. The 20-year-old has hit safely in four straight after collecting just one knock -- a homer in his first at-bat of the year -- in his first three games for Double-A Richmond. Gameday
Ethan Workinger, OF, Columbus (Unranked)
Workinger was a one-man wrecking crew for the Double-A Clingstones, homering three times and driving in a career-high eight runs. The Braves infielder, who also went deep on Wednesday, hit a solo jack in his first at-bat, a three-run poke in his second and capped it off with a grand slam to account for eight of Columbus' nine runs.
