RHP Antonio Senzatela
Injury: Right middle finger blister
IL date: Aug. 2 (15-day IL)
Expected return: mid-August
Status: Manager Warren Schaeffer said the blister definitely affected Senzatela in a start against the Pirates on Aug. 1 – seven runs, eight hits including an Oneil Cruz grand slam. The Rockies somehow won that game at Coors. (updated Aug. 2)
RHP Zach Agnos
Injury: Right flexor strain
IL date: July 27 (15-day IL)
Expected return: mid-August
Status: An MRI on the elbow area came back clean, according to manager Warren Schaeffer. (updated Aug. 2)
INF Ryan Ritter
Injury: Lacerated right middle finger
IL date: July 20
Expected return: TBA
Status: With all the stitches out, Ritter has been taking grounders recently. But with the area glued and still healing, just taking the ball out of the glove is painful, and then he has to graduate to throwing, holding the bat and hitting. Hit on the finger while bunting, Ritter said the bone itself -- which was not broken -- continues to hurt. (updated Aug. 2)
RHP Germán Márquez
Injury: Right biceps tendinitis
IL date: July 23 (retroactive to July 21)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Márquez took a major step forward with a 20-pitch bullpen session on Aug. 2 at Coors Field. He said the tightness and soreness has been gone for a couple of days. (updated Aug. 2) More >>
DH Kris Bryant
Injury: Lumbar degenerative disk disease
IL date: April 14 (60-day IL, retroactive to April 13)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Bryant plans to consult with a New York doctor on July 7 and will soon see a specialist in Dallas to possibly try “experimental treatments.” The only surgical option is a fusion surgery, which would make continuing to play difficult. (updated July 6) More >>
RHP Jeff Criswell
Injury: Torn right elbow ligament
IL date: March 27 (transferred to 60-day IL on April 14)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Criswell underwent Tommy John surgery on March 14 and will miss the season. (updated April 14)
