1B Michael Toglia tied a career-high with four hits Saturday (also: July 16, 2022 vs. Harrisburg; Aug. 18, 2022 at Tacoma) … slashing .375/.429/.656 (1.085 OPS) with three doubles, two home runs and five RBI over his last eight games … has reached base in 17 consecutive games, slashing .391/.468/.696 with four doubles, one triple, five home runs and 14 RBI.
OF Sterlin Thompson has an active 21-game on-base streak dating back to July 30 … is slashing .388/.506/.672 (1.179 OPS) with five doubles, one triple, four home runs, 13 walks and 13 strikeouts during that span … in 79 games since May 1 is hitting .330/.426/.581 with 13 home runs, 49 RBI and 13 stolen bases.

With 12 games remaining in the regular season, the Hartford Yard Goats are 0.5 games behind Somerset (New York-AL) to secure a playoff berth for the second consecutive season.
OF Cole Carrigg ranks among Eastern League leaders in: runs scored (1st, 77), stolen bases (2nd, 43), total bases (6th, 174), RBI (T-7th, 59) and hits (T-9th, 103) … has recorded multiple stolen bases in 10 games this season for the Yard Goats.
LHP Sean Sullivan has allowed more than three earned runs once in 16 starts in 2025 for Hartford … has allowed one or zero earned runs in eight of his starts … over his last seven starts dating back to July 8, has gone 3-1 while posting a 1.58 ERA (40.0 IP, 7 ER), walking nine and striking out 40 while holding opposing hitters to a .197/.248/.246 slashline.

LHP Griffin Herring, acquired from New York-AL in the Ryan McMahon trade, has posted a 2.16 ERA (25.0 IP, 6 ER) with 39 strikeouts in six starts for the Indians … has not allowed more than two earned run in any of his starts with Spokane and once in 22 total starts in 2025 … overall, his 1.81 ERA (114.1 IP, 23 ER) ranks sixth-best in all of the Minor Leagues among qualified pitchers.
1B Aidan Longwell leads the Northwest League in extra base hits (53), ranks second in RBI (80) and is third in total bases (208).

With six games remaining in the regular season, the Fresno Grizzlies have clinched a playoff berth and will be facing the San Jose Giants in a best-of-three series beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 9 in Fresno.
In nine starts dating back to June 12, RHP Brody Brecht has posted a 2.18 ERA (33.0 IP, 8 ER) with 12 walks and 48 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .188 average (22-for-117) with no home runs allowed during that span.
