Ryan Michael Ritter...Son of Ken and Maureen...Oldest of seven children...Played at John A. Logan College (Ill.) in 2020 before transferring to the University of Kentucky...In two seasons with the Wildcats (2021-22), slashed .280/.350/.423 across 111 games with 19 doubles, three triples, 11 home runs and 56 RBI...Won the ABCA Rawlings Gold Glove award at shortstop his junior year in 2022, the sixth player in school history to win a Gold Glove award...Was also named to the Southeastern Conference All-Defensive Team...Was a three-sport athlete at Lincoln-Way East High School (Ill.), playing baseball, basketball and football...As a senior in 2019, batted .429 with 13 doubles, three triples, four home runs, 41 runs and a .724 slugging percentage.
