Join the Boston Red Sox and Native American LifeLines to show your Native American & American Indian pride at Fenway Park for our second Native American & American Indian Celebration on Wednesday, August 6. Ticket holders who purchase through this special offer will receive a Red Sox Native American & American Indian Celebration jersey.
This 2025 Native American and American Indian Celebration jersey features an embroidered patch with replica wampum beads. The jersey will have a white bark print and brown piping to replicate a leather tassel. Wampum beads are made from hardshell clam (poquaûhog) and have been used since pre-colonial times for storytelling, currency, diplomacy, and ornamentation. White birch bark is widely used by Native tribes of the Northeast in crafting baskets and canoes, due to its waterproof properties. The back of the jersey will also feature "Shawmut" on the name plate, derived from the Algonquian word "Mashauwomuk" which refers to present-day Boston.
The Native American and American Indian Celebration jersey design is inspired by Eastern Woodland ancestors whose names were once known, and contemporary Native artists Sage Carbone and Brittney Walley.
Arrive early to enjoy cultural performances! Additionally, a portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Native American LifeLines.
