Expected return: July

Injury: Right shoulder labrum tear
IL date: March 27 (10-day IL, retroactive to March 24; transferred to 60-day IL May 22)
Expected return: After the All-Star break
Status: Yoshida turned a corner with his throwing, making throws from left field to second base at increased intensity and velocity during Boston's off-day on June 12. (Last updated: June 13)
OF Wilyer Abreu
Injury: Left oblique strain

Expected return: June 20
Status: Abreu took some swings at Fenway Park on June 13, and the Red Sox expect he will return during the series in San Francisco that starts on June 20. (Last updated: June 13)
RHP Liam Hendriks
Injury: Right hip inflammation

RHP Kutter Crawford
Injury: Right patellar soreness/right wrist discomfort

Expected return: July or August
Status: Crawford was slated to throw a bullpen session but has been slowed by soreness in his right wrist and is limited to playing catch. Manager Alex Cora said on June 11 they'll know more in the coming days. (Last updated: June 11)

Injury: Right shoulder inflammation

Injury: Underwent Tommy John surgery on April 10, 2024

1B Triston Casas
Injury: Ruptured patellar tendon, left knee
