Here are Wednesday's top prospect performances from the Minors

September 4th, 2025

Pitching was the name of the game around the Minors with several notable performances from the up-and-coming moundsmen. Robbie Snelling (Marlins) led the way by carving out a career high in punchouts while going the distance in a seven-inning game. Teenager Joey Oakie (Guardians) and James Hicks (Astros) weren't too shabby either as both hurlers piled up double-digit K's. On the offensive side, Top 100 prospects Max Clark (Tigers), Jett Williams (Mets) and Charlie Condon (Rockies) flexed some muscle with their latest long balls.

Robby Snelling, LHP, Jacksonville (MIA No. 4/MLB No. 77)
Snelling added to an ever-growing list of dominant starts this season, but this one marked his first professional complete game in the opener of Triple-A Jacksonville's doubleheader. The 21-year-old struck out a career-high 13 while allowing one run during the seven-inning contest, generating 22 swings-and-misses on 50 pitches. Snelling fanned the final five batters he faced and and has racked up 152 punchouts in 125 frames. The Nevada native sports a 1.37 ERA in nine starts for the Jumbo Shrimp. Gameday

Max Clark, OF, Erie (DET No. 2/MLB No. 9)
Clark did what he's done so often this season: a little bit of everything. The 20-year-old slugged his 13th homer, reached base four times and scored three runs out of the leadoff spot for Double-A Erie. Clark's two walks pushed his total to 91 in 104 games, tied for the second-highest mark in the Minors. Despite a slow August, the Indiana native still has posted an .819 OPS in 36 Double-A games and an .857 mark for the season. Gameday

Jett Williams, SS/OF/2B, Syracuse (NYM No. 2/MLB No. 29)
Williams reached base three times, scored twice and launched his third Triple-A long ball -- his second in three games for Syracuse. The 14th overall pick in the 2022 Draft equaled his personal high with his 13th roundtripper, first accomplished in 2023 during his first full-season campaign. Despite getting off to a slow start in his first three weeks in the International League, Williams has accumulated 50 extra-base hits, 33 stolen bases and an .861 OPS in 114 games across two Minor League levels this season.
