A busy night around the Minors included a cycle, a Triple-A first and plenty of strong performances at the plate and on the mound. The Reds' Sal Stewart continues to take Triple-A by storm, hitting .400 during his first three weeks there, while the Mets' Jett Williams cleared the fence for his first homer at the Minors' highest level. Not to be outdone was a player with pro lineage: Kyle Nevin -- the Dodgers prospect hit for the cycle at Double-A.
Sal Stewart, 3B/2B, Louisville (CIN No. 1/MLB No. 31)
Stewart erupted for four hits -- three for extra bases -- and a career-high five RBIs to pace Triple-A Louisville's offense. The 21-year-old launched his sixth homer for the Bats and added two doubles to extend his hitting streak to seven. Stewart has hit safely in 15 of his past 16 games, batting .410 with a 1.338 OPS and 17 extra-base hits. The 2022 Draft pick is slashing .313/.382/.520 with 31 doubles, 16 homers and 64 RBIs in 103 games across two Minor League levels. Gameday
Kevin McGonigle, SS, Erie (DET No. 1/MLB No. 2)
One night after collecting his first multihomer game, McGonigle added another long ball in a truly important spot for Double-A Erie. He ripped a go-ahead two-run jack in the ninth inning to cap a three-RBI night. McGonigle, who scored three times, singled, walked and swiped his seventh base, is 6-for-15 with five extra-base hits and seven RBIs in the past four games. Gameday
Jett Williams, SS/OF/2B, Syracuse (NYM No. 2/MLB No. 30)
After going hitless in his first Triple-A action of the season, Williams rebounded with his first long ball for Syracuse. It was the 11th homer of the year for the 23-year-old, two shy of the career high he posted in 2023. Williams, who missed all but 33 games in 2024, is slashing .278/.386/.478 with 71 runs and 32 stolen bases in 98 games across two Minor League levels this season. Gameday

Jarlin Susana, RHP, Harrisburg (WSH No. 3/MLB No. 73)
Susana has quelled any concern that might linger over the sprained right UCL in his elbow that kept him out of action for 10 weeks. The 21-year-old struck out nine while surrendering one run on one hit over five innings for Double-A Harrisburg. Susana, who made three rehab appearances for High-A Wilmington before being activated last week, has allowed two runs and fanned 15 in 9 2/3 frames in two starts since rejoining the Senators. Gameday
Alfredo Duno, C, Daytona (CIN No. 3/MLB No. 75)
Duno's hot August continued with a three-hit, four-RBI night for Single-A Daytona. The 19-year-old kicked off the productive outing with an RBI single and capped it with a three-run jack, his 10th long ball, but just his third since June 19. Duno has been one of the Tortugas' most consistent hitters all year and is batting .275 with an .875 OPS, 63 RBIs and 39 extra-base hits in 95 games. Gameday
Robby Snelling, LHP, Jacksonville (MIA No. 4/MLB No. 80)
Snelling took a hard-luck loss despite lowering his ERA in six Triple-A starts to 1.34 after surrendering a pair of unearned runs in six innings. The Nevada native allowed three hits and struck out nine, giving him 20 punchouts in his past two outings. Snelling's breakout has been even more noticeable since his promotion to Jacksonville, where he has a 0.95 WHIP and a 43/7 K/BB ratio in 33 2/3 innings across six starts. Gameday
Hunter Barco, LHP, Indianapolis (PIT No. 4/MLB No. 87)
Barco, who opened the season by twirling six consecutive scoreless starts before earning a promotion to Triple-A, was posting zeros on the board once again. The 24-year-old struck out five over four shutout frames, his second straight start without allowing a run. Barco has a 3.71 ERA in 15 starts for Indianapolis and a 2.57 mark across two Minor League levels this season. Gameday
Trey Gibson, RHP, Norfolk (BAL No. 12)
Gibson's first Triple-A start was very much like the majority of his outings this season. The 23-year-old surrendered one hit and struck out six over five scoreless innings, his fourth consecutive start without allowing an earned run. Gibson began 2025 at High-A Aberdeen, where he struggled to a 5.98 ERA in nine appearances (eight starts), but since his promotion to Double-A, he's been nearly untouchable. The Liberty product has a miniscule 1.41 ERA in his past 11 outings. Gameday
Ixan Henderson, LHP, Springfield (STL No. 15)
Henderson took a no-hitter into the seventh inning for Double-A Springfield before yielding a leadoff homer, the only hit of the game for Wichita. The 23-year-old struck out eight and walked one while matching his season high in innings pitched. Henderson is 5-1 with a 1.85 ERA in seven starts since July 1 and has a 2.42 mark across 20 outings this season. Gameday
Kyle Nevin, OF, Tulsa (Not ranked, LAD)
Nevin put together the best performance of his pro career, hitting for the cycle and driving in six runs for Double-A Tulsa. The 23-year-old son of former MLB All-Star Phil Nevin and Tyler's younger brother singled in a run in the third, launched a grand slam in the fourth, tripled in his last run in the sixth and doubled in the eighth to complete his historic night.
