Expected return: Mid-September
Status: Was hit by a pitch on his left hand on Aug. 20 and aggravated it on a swing on Sept. 11. Angels remain hopeful he'll be able to play through it but was held out of the lineup the next three games. (updated Sept. 14)

Injury: Left elbow inflammation
IL date: Sept. 11, 15-day IL (transferred to 60-day IL on Sept. 12)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Exited relief appearance in the eighth inning on Sept. 10 after diminished velocity and some discomfort in his forearm and outside the elbow. Underwent an MRI exam on Sept. 11 and is getting a second opinion. (updated Sept. 14) More >>

IL date: Sept. 8 (7-day IL)
Expected return: Sept. 16
Status: Hit under his chin by a warmup swing from the A's Jacob Wilson and left the game in the seventh inning on Sept. 7. Underwent further testing that determined he sustained a concussion but is expected to return the first game of the Milwaukee series. (updated Sept. 14) More >>

Expected return: Late September
Status: Threw a bullpen session on Sept. 14 and is tracking for a return by the end of the season. (updated Sept. 14)

Expected return: Late September
Status: Hit on the top of his catching mask on a backswing from Julio Rodríguez in the ninth inning on Sept. 11. Felt concussion-like symptoms on Sept. 12 and was placed on IL. (updated Sept. 12)

Injury: Left triceps inflammation
IL date: Sept. 12 (15-day IL, retroactive to Sept. 11)
Expected return: Possibly late September
Status: Felt something during his outing against the Twins on Sept. 10 and was placed on the IL two days later. Could return for the final series of the year. (updated Sept. 12)

Injury: Right shoulder inflammation
IL date: Aug. 24 (transferred to 60-day IL on Sept. 3)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Dealt with shoulder discomfort in his right arm in his fourth and final inning on Aug. 23. Underwent an MRI exam that revealed inflammation and was placed on the 60-day IL on Sept. 3 to end his season. (updated Sept. 12) More >>

IL date: July 7 (transferred to 60-day IL on July 9)
Expected return: Possibly late September
Status: Felt discomfort in his shoulder during his relief appearance on July 6. Underwent an MRI, which revealed a significant shoulder strain, but it won't require surgery. He's progressing but has yet to start throwing. (updated Sept. 8) More>>

Status: Was carted off the field Aug. 11 after his left foot got caught on the top of the short wall in right field on a catch attempt. X-rays came back negative. (updated Sept. 1)
