Injury: Left shoulder soreness
Expected return: Day to day

LHP Noah Schultz (White Sox No. 2 prospect, MLB No. 37)
Injury: Right knee patellar tendinitis
IL date: July 20 (Minor League 7-day IL)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Returned to IL with continued knee soreness, and he is no longer taking part in the Arizona Fall League as a precautionary measure. Director of player development Paul Janish said surgery will not be needed at this juncture. (Last updated: Sept. 15)

CF Luis Robert Jr.
Injury: Left hamstring strain
IL date: Aug. 27 (10-day)
Expected return: Potentially 2026
Status: General manager Chris Getz described Robert as suffering a Grade 2 strain in the second inning of a game on Aug. 26, which could leave him out for the season. Manager Will Venable said time could be running out for a Robert return. (Last updated: Sept. 10) More >>

Injury: Small fracture in right foot
IL date: Sept. 8 (Minor League 7-day IL)
Expected return: AFL
Status: Hit by a pitch during Sept. 6 game with Double-A Birmingham in the second inning and left in the fourth inning. Still expected to take part in the Arizona Fall League. (Last updated: Sept. 9)

LHP Bryan Hudson
Injury: Lower back strain
IL date: Sept. 4 (15-day IL)
Expected return: Last week of 2025 season
Status: Hudson last pitched on Sept. 2 against the Twins, but was placed on the IL two days later. (Last updated: Sept. 4)

RHP Elvis Peguero
Injury: Right elbow strain
IL date: Aug. 20 (15-day IL)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Peguero threw just five of his 12 pitches for strikes in the White Sox loss on Aug. 19 and felt discomfort after the abbreviated outing. (Last updated: Aug. 20)

RHP Owen White
Injury: Right hip impingement
IL date: Aug. 19 (15-day IL)
Expected return: TBD
Status: White felt something while pitching on Aug. 18 in Atlanta, but didn’t say anything at the time. It was serious enough for an IL trip. (Last updated: Aug. 19)

Injury: Patellar tendon tear in right knee
IL date: May 31 (retroactive to May 29, transferred to 60-day IL on June 4)
Expected return: 2026
