Yankee Stadium Guest Advisory – Thursday, Sept. 11

**Please allow extra time for entry due to enhanced TSA-style security measures.**

  • All Entry Gates and security check points will open at 4:00 p.m.
  • No bags will be allowed in Yankee Stadium, with the exception of one small “clutch-type bag” no larger than 4.5”x6.5" per guest.
  • No bottles, cans or liquids will be allowed in Yankee Stadium.
  • No laptops or tablets will be allowed in Yankee Stadium.
  • Mass Transit is the best way to get to Yankee Stadium.

UPDATED GATE OPENINGS FOR THURSDAY, SEPT. 11

  • All Entry Gates and security check points will open at 4:00 p.m. Certain Entry Gates may be closed at certain times before or during the game.
  • Ticketed fans attending the game are advised to arrive as close to 4:00 p.m. as possible to expedite entry.
  • In addition to regular screening policies at Entry Gates, there will be TSA-style security screening for all ticketed fans as they enter Yankee Stadium. As you plan your arrival, please allow extra time for entry due to enhanced security measures.
  • Crowds and security lines are expected to increase closer to game time.

UPDATED ENTRY POLICIES FOR THURSDAY, SEPT. 11

  • NO BAGS – NO BAGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN YANKEE STADIUM, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE SMALL “CLUTCH-TYPE BAG” PER GUEST.
    • For this event, there will be a NO BAGS ENTRY POLICY, with the exception of one small “clutch-type bag” per Guest admitted into Yankee Stadium. Bags must not be larger than 4.5”x6.5”.
    • To expedite your entry into Yankee Stadium, we recommend restricting your personal items to items that fit in a pocket.
    • All bags, personal items and their contents will be inspected before they are permitted into Yankee Stadium.
    • There is NO storage area at Yankee Stadium for any prohibited items.
    • Guests are strongly encouraged to consider carrying as little as possible.
  • NO BOTTLES, CANS OR LIQUIDS – NO BOTTLES, CANS OR LIQUIDS WILL BE ALLOWED IN YANKEE STADIUM.
    • Bottles, cans and liquids will not be permitted in Yankee Stadium, including no empty, reusable water bottles.
  • NO LAPTOPS OR TABLETS – NO LAPTOPS OR TABLETS WILL BE ALLOWED IN YANKEE STADIUM.
    • Laptops and tablets will not be permitted in Yankee Stadium.
    • No laptops or tablets permitted in private suites on the Coupa Suite Level.

Exceptions are made for Guests with medical needs at the sole and absolute discretion of management.

TRANSPORTATION, PARKING AND MOVING AROUND INSIDE YANKEE STADIUM

  • Please budget ample time when planning your trip to Yankee Stadium due to limited parking and security road closures in the area.
  • Remember: Mass Transit is the best way to get to Yankee Stadium.
  • You should also expect some delays moving around in public areas of Yankee Stadium that may briefly become restricted access at certain times before or during the game.

MOBILE TICKET ENTRY INTO YANKEE STADIUM: Please make sure you download and transfer to each member of your party their individual ticket via mobile smartphone, prior to arriving at Yankee Stadium.

  • We encourage you to review your account and ensure all tickets appear as expected before you arrive at Yankee Stadium.
  • Mobile tickets should be downloaded and accessible before proceeding through the security screenings at Yankee Stadium.
  • Mobile tickets cannot be transferred after they have been scanned and Guests are inside Yankee Stadium.
  • Screenshots of tickets will not be accepted for entry to Yankees games at Yankee Stadium.

MOBILE TICKETING

Contactless technology will be implemented in many aspects of the Yankee Stadium experience. As such, all tickets will be delivered digitally/mobile-only and available on the Guests’ mobile devices via the MLB Ballpark app. No paper tickets will be issued.

GATE LOCATIONS

Yankee Stadium has four gate locations for entry and exit:

  • Gate 2, adjacent to left field: Enter via Jerome Avenue and East 164th Street
  • Gate 4, behind home plate: Enter via East 161st Street and Macombs Dam Bridge
  • Gate 6, adjacent to right field: Enter via East 161st Street and River Avenue
  • Gate 8, adjacent to center field: Enter via River Avenue and East 164th Street
GATE OPENINGS

All gates will open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the game.

Gate openings are subject to change during inclement weather and for special events, doubleheaders, Opening Day, the Old-Timers' Day game and postseason play or at Yankee Stadium management's discretion. There may be a point during a game when Guests may only enter through the Yankee Stadium Lobby, adjacent to Gate 2.

Download the free CLEAR app, sign up, and enter through designated CLEAR Lane expedited entry at Babe Ruth Plaza and the Suite Entrance (for Guests with access). Pursuant to an MLB mandate, additional, enhanced security measures will be in place at all Gates at the Stadium.
