April 18

  • Earth Week officially kicks off, in partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office's "Do Colorado Right" campaign.
  • PLAY BALL Clinic – students attending will also get to plant their own tree.

April 19

  • WM kiosk on the Main Concourse at Coors Field:

    • Storm water education poster contest voting

      • Students from a local sixth-grade science class have been tasked with creating posters on storm water education. Fans can vote on the winner at the WM kiosk or online at Rockies.com.
    • Fun recycling games

    • Sustainability education and tips for fans

April 22 – Earth Day

  • Exterior lights at Coors Field go green to celebrate Earth Day.
  • Rockies participate in a textile recycling program.
  • Three student finalists selected for the storm water education poster contest; announced on social media, in-game, and on Rockies.com.

April 24–26

  • MLB Ballpark app goes green, promoting Earth Week content and events.

  • In-park activations continue:

    • Player-led video board messages and sustainability facts

    • Pregame reel with players sharing why sustainability matters

    • Sustainability scoreboard loop and logos featured

April 25–27

  • Green Team Activation:

    • Aramark Facilities Management, Rockies staff, and Dinger will sort recyclables throughout the game while sporting special green sustainability vests.

    • In-game features spotlight WM and other sustainability partners.

April 26

  • Poster contest winner announced on-field and treated to a ballpark tour and pizza party.

April 30 – STEM Day

  • Steve Spangler leads a sustainability-focused science presentation to youth attendees.
