Did not play after the minor league season was cancelled...Arrived at the Mets' Alternate Training Site in Brooklyn in mid-August and spent the remainder of the year there...Struck out in his lone plate appearance for Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Winter League...Played 1.0 inning at shortstop...After the season, was ranked as the No. 65 prospect in the majors (No. 2 Mets prospect) by Baseball America...That publication also rated him as the best athlete and best defensive infielder in the Mets minor league system.

2019

Was a South Atlantic League mid-season All-Star with Columbia (A)…After the season, Baseball America rated him as the No. 66 overall prospect in the majors and the top prospect in the Mets' system.

Made his pro debut with the GCL Mets (R) and was the Sterling Award recipient there, emblematic of the team's most valuable player...Spent the last week of the season with Kingsport (R) of the Appalachian League.
