Injury: Right ankle sprain
IL date: Aug. 22, retroactive to Aug. 19 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Potentially Sept. 15-17
Status: Rolled ankle during Aug. 18 game in Boston. Began rehab assignment at Triple-A Norfolk on Sept. 12, starting at third base and going 0-for-3. (updated Sept. 12)

Injury: Right knee sprain
IL date: July 6 (transferred to 60-day IL on Aug. 22)
Expected return: Late September
Status: Played first two rehab games for Triple-A Norfolk on Sept. 10 and 11, going 3-for-7 with a home run and three RBIs. Expected to play about two weeks of rehab games before returning. (updated Sept. 12)

Injury: Right foot discomfort
Expected return: Sept. 13
Status: Exited Sept. 7 start after getting hit by comebacker in right foot. X-rays were negative. Will make next scheduled start Sept. 13 in Toronto. (updated Sept. 11)

Expected return: Week of Sept. 15

Injury: Right oblique strain
IL date: Aug. 21, retroactive to Aug. 18 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Mid-September
Status: Scratched from Aug. 19 lineup with right abdominal discomfort. Strain is low grade and on opposite side of previous injury. Expected to take batting practice around Sept. 12-14. (updated Sept. 9) More >>

Injury: Right elbow discomfort
IL date: July 13 (transferred to 60-day IL on Aug. 26)
Expected return: Mid-September
Status: Began rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on Sept. 3, allowing two runs during a one-inning start vs. Nashville. Tossed scoreless inning on Sept. 6. (updated Sept. 6)

Injury: Left hamstring strain
IL date: Aug. 22 (transferred to 60-day IL on Aug. 27)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Exited Aug. 21 start vs. Houston after sustaining injury. Will not pitch again during 2025 season, though expects to be healed in time to have a normal offseason. (updated Aug. 27)

RHP Félix Bautista
Injury: Right shoulder surgery
IL date: July 24, retroactive to July 21 (transferred to 60-day IL on Aug. 22)
Expected return: September 2026 (or later)
Status: Underwent surgery to repair torn rotator cuff and torn labrum on Aug. 19 in Los Angeles. Dr. Neal ElAttrache performed operation, which will sideline Bautista for at least 12 months. (updated Aug. 20) More >>

Expected return: 2026

IL date: March 27, retroactive to March 24 (transferred to 60-day IL on April 28)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent elbow debridement surgery on Aug. 11, which will delay his return until 2026. Did not pitch in '25 due to multiple injuries. (updated Aug. 12) More >>

Injury: Left hamstring strain
IL date: July 29 (15-day IL)
Expected return: Mid-September or later
Status: Diagnosed with Grade 2 strain. Expected to miss about a month from the time of MRI exam, which came shortly after IL placement. (updated Aug. 5)
