In-Kind Donations
The Baltimore Orioles are happy to support charitable organizations to positively impact our community through in-kind donations.
Donation Request Guidelines
- Donations are for charitable purposes only (e.g., auctions and raffles).
- All requests must be submitted using the online donation request form found below. Requests must be received six (6) weeks prior to your event. No phone calls, emails, faxes, or mailed-in requests will be accepted.
- Donations will be mailed out or ready for pick up at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of your event.
- Organizations are limited to ONE donation within a twelve-month period. Due to the large number of charities doing great work for our community, if you have applied for and received a donation the prior year, you are ineligible to apply this year.
- The Orioles do not accept fan merchandise for the purpose of being autographed for a charity event or personal use. Any merchandise sent will be immediately returned. We cannot be responsible for any items sent to us that are lost or stolen.
- Due to the large number of requests received weekly and limited resources, we are unable to fulfill all requests. Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
- Donations are in the form of autographed memorabilia and promotional items. Due to the demand, we are not able to offer tickets as a charitable donation. For those interested in our Community Ticket Grant Program, please visit orioles.com/ticketgrants.
- Once a request is submitted, it will be sorted on a first come first serve basis by event month. All decisions made by the Orioles Community Engagement Department are final.
Eligible Organizations:
- Requests will only be considered for organizations that are a recognized charity and include a copy of its 501(c)(3) status.
- We prioritize organizations that most closely align with our Community Pillars: Play, Inner City Health Disparities, Education, and Military.
- Due to the demand, we limit our donations to organizations located in our region: MD/VA/DE/WV/PA (within the Orioles market)/NC.
Ineligible Organizations:
The Baltimore Orioles will not consider in-kind donation requests for:
- Door prizes or bulk donations
- Monetary donation requests or sponsorships
- Online auctions
- For-profit company programs and initiatives, including employee appreciation events, employee incentives, etc.
- Third party or organizational fundraising efforts (i.e. Relay for Life, United Way, etc.)
- Individuals or individual pursuits, fraternal, labor or political groups
