Injury: Left hip soreness
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Underwent an MRI after leaving the White Sox game on Sept. 12 and is still considered day to day. Manager Will Venable said that the results of the MRI were “good news.” (Last updated: Sept. 13)
RHP Grant Taylor
Injury: Right groin strain
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Threw seven pitches (two strikes) in the ninth inning before exiting against the Rays on Sept. 10. Manager Will Venable said that Taylor is “day-by-day” and could return by the end of the season. He’s set to throw a bullpen over the next couple days. (Last updated: Sept. 12)
CF Luis Robert Jr.
Injury: Left hamstring strain
IL date: Aug. 27 (10-day)
Expected return: Potentially 2026
Status: General manager Chris Getz described Robert as suffering a Grade 2 strain in the second inning of a game on Aug. 26, which could leave him out for the season. Manager Will Venable said time could be running out for a Robert return. (Last updated: Sept. 10) More >>

Injury: Right knee patellar tendinitis
