Roman Anthony, OF, Worcester (BOS No. 1/MLB No. 1)
There are moments from every baseball season that fans keep with them long after the fact – and Anthony’s 497-foot grand slam that sailed toward the direction of Fenway Park will undoubtedly be one of them. The top prospect in baseball is slashing .290/.421/.495 across 57 games for Triple-A Worcester at age 21 despite every plate appearance this season coming against a pitcher older than him. Chase Burns, RHP, Chattanooga (CIN No. 1/MLB No. 11)
The second overall pick in the 2024 Draft went 17 up, 17 down to begin his latest Double-A gem. Burns was in complete cruise control en route to his first professional shutout, a seven-inning masterpiece in which he was still hitting 98 mph on the radar gun in his final frame. Cincinnati’s top prospect scattered three singles over the final two frames but didn’t walk a batter, elevating his K/BB ratio across two levels to an astounding 75/9. Gameday
Nick Kurtz, 1B, Stockton (ATH No. 1/MLB No. 14)
After torpedoing through the Minors en route to his Major League debut on April 23, Kurtz returns for what is expected to be a brief rehab stint with Single-A Stockton. He wasted little time showing that his bat is as scorching as ever, drilling a two-run homer and adding an RBI single to help pace the Ports to victory. MLB’s No. 2 first-base prospect is back where his pro career began, having also homered in his first Stockton game last August. The fourth overall pick from the 2024 Draft already has five big league homers in 94 at-bats to his credit. Gameday
Jacob Misiorowski, RHP, Nashville (MIL No. 4/MLB No. 68)
Misiorowski lit up the radar gun Saturday night in his 12th start of the season, allowing just two hits across five scoreless innings with seven strikeouts. The righty hit 100 mph or higher 14 times. He is one of just two pitchers in the Minors with an 80-grade fastball, which has helped him rack up 80 strikeouts over 63 1/3 innings while leading the International League with a 2.13 ERA. Gameday
Cam Caminiti, LHP, Augusta (ATL No. 1/MLB No. 69)
The Braves’ 2024 first-round pick spent the early part of the season recovering from an arm injury that sidelined him until May. After struggling through five starts in the FCL, Caminiti was promoted to Single-A Augusta -- and impressed in his first outing. The southpaw struck out eight across five innings of one-hit, one-run ball. The cousin of former MLB veteran Ken Caminiti showed off his 60-grade fastball and 55-grade slider, keeping hitters off balance throughout the outing. Gameday
Rafael Sanchez, RHP, New Hampshire (TOR, Unranked)
The best outing of Sanchez’s pro career also happened to coincide with him wearing arguably the wildest uniform of said career. With Double-A New Hampshire playing as their alternate identity – the Manchester Chicken Tenders – the 25-year-old righty scattered two walks and struck out just two batters, but allowed his defense to help him find a spot in club history with no hits allowed. Sanchez’s third career shutout also marked New Hampshire’s first no-hitter since 2012 and fourth in franchise history. Full story | Gameday
Konnor Griffin, SS/OF, Bradenton (PIT No. 2/MLB No. 34)
The ninth overall selection in the 2024 Draft by the Pirates has been a force in '25. On Saturday, Griffin showed off his wheels with an inside-the-park home run for his ninth total roundtripper of the season. He finished the day 3-for-5 with three RBIs -- his 21st multihit performance of the year. The 19-year-old is slashing .338/.398/.536 with 26 stolen bases through 50 games. Griffin now ranks ninth in the Minors in average, tied for seventh in hits (70) and second in runs scored (49). Gameday
Wyatt Sanford, SS, Bradenton (PIT No. 8)
The Pirates’ 2024 second-round selection has impressed in his first pro season. Sanford began the year in the FCL, where he posted an .857 OPS across 20 games and earned a promotion to Single-A Bradenton. Homering in his Marauders debut Tuesday, Sanford went deep twice on Saturday, tallying five RBIs and nine total bases in his second consecutive three-hit game. In 2025, Sanford has shown strong discipline at the plate, posting a 16/17 BB/K ratio. Gameday
Tink Hence, RHP, Palm Beach (STL No. 3)
One of the more exciting arms in the Cardinals’ system continues to work his way back from a right rib cage strain that derailed his start of the season. Hence worked 2 2/3 frames of one-hit ball for Single-A Palm Beach, striking out six of the 10 batters he faced. The 22-year-old racked up a 40.9 percent whiff rate, utilizing all five of his pitches. Hence is no stranger to dominating for the Single-A Cardinals, having delivered one of the most dominant seasons in franchise history back in 2022 when he logged a 1.38 ERA with 81 strikeouts in 52 1/3 frames. So far this year across two levels, he’s yet to allow a run in seven innings of work. Gameday
Ryan Waldschmidt, OF, Hillsboro (AZ No. 3/MLB No. 95)
The 31st overall pick in the 2024 Draft continues to sizzle vs. High-A pitching, plating a run for the fourth consecutive contest for Hillsboro. Selected with the pick that the D-backs earned for Corbin Carroll winning National League Rookie of the Year in 2023, Waldschmidt is slashing .273/.431/.449 and has walked more times (45) than he has struck out (42). He added a pair of singles to give him his second three-hit game as a pro. Gameday
