The NHL playoffs are underway, with plenty of goalies logging standout performances on a nightly basis, but Tuesday night's top save may have come courtesy of Jonah Hurney for the Reds' High-A affiliate Dayton at Parkview Field.

Actually, the Reds' left-handed pitching prospect might have mixed three sports into the one play during the Dragons' 12-6 loss to the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Padres).

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Hurney performed a kick save on a 106 mph line drive up the middle by Braedon Karpathios that popped up in the air and fell perfectly into his mitt, showing off soccer skills that would make Argentine legend Lionel Messi proud.

The latter half of the play was a return to baseball. With the first out secured, Hurney threw the ball to third baseman Ricky Cabrera (CIN No. 10), who sprawled toward third base and emphatically slammed his glove on the bag to double off runner Brandon Butterworth.

The Dragons weren't the only Reds affiliate to make a highlight reel play in the infield on Tuesday. In Memphis, Cincinnati's Triple-A Louisville Bats turned the first triple play of the year in the Minors.
