Summer Food Drive: Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2

    • 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Collection Point:

  • Outside of the Jackie Robinson Rotunda (first and third base sides)

The Mets are hosting their annual Summer Food Drive, presented by 1PointFive, to benefit Food Bank For New York City on Friday, August 1 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 2 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. outside of the Jackie Robinson Rotunda. Please note: Donations will only be accepted at the designated collection points located outside the Jackie Robinson Rotunda. There will be no collection points inside the stadium.

Food Bank For New York City aims to empower every New Yorker to achieve food security for good. They work with 800+ soup kitchens, food pantries, and campus partners to provide immediate and reliable access to food and nutrition education.

Fans donating at least 10 non-perishable items will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a select Monday – Thursday Mets home game in 2025. Fans will be limited to one ticket voucher.

All types of canned and packaged goods are welcome, but no glass containers or perishable foods please. The most needed foods are:

  • Canned Vegetables (low sodium preferred)
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Vegetable Soups (low sodium preferred)
  • Broth (low sodium preferred)
  • Canned fruits (in juice or light syrup)
  • Dried fruits
  • 100% fruit juices
  • Beans- canned or dry
  • Peanut Butter
  • Nuts
  • Canned Meat (chicken, beef, ham)
  • Canned Fish (tuna, salmon, sardines)
  • Canned stews (chicken or beef)
  • Rice (white, brown, flavored)
  • Pasta/noodles
  • Cold Cereal
  • Hot cereal (grits, oatmeal, farina)
  • Flour/Cornmeal/Baking Mixes
  • Whole Grain Crackers
  • Couscous
  • Dry Milk packets
  • Shelf stable milk
  • Soy/Almond/Rice Milk
  • Nutrition Beverages (Boost, Ensure, Carnation Instant Breakfast)
  • Granola Bars
