Injury: Right elbow inflammation

Expected return: Potentially September

RHP Gregory Santos
Injury: Right knee surgery
IL date: April 29 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Potentially September
Status: Began a rehab assignment on Sept. 6 with Triple-A Tacoma. Has thrown 3 1/3 innings and allowed 2 ER across four appearances. Will need at least one or two more outings before possible activation. (Last updated: Sept. 16)
2B Ryan Bliss
Injury: Right meniscus tear
IL date: April 9, for torn left biceps (transferred to 60-day IL on April 13)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Injured his knee running the bases in the sixth game of his rehab assignment to return from torn left biceps. Underwent surgery on Sept. 8, ending his season. (Last updated: Sept. 8)
RHP Jackson Kowar
Injury: Right shoulder impingement
IL date: Sept. 3 (15-day IL, retroactive to Aug. 19)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Initially optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Aug. 19, but had that transaction reversed on Sept. 3, when the club placed him on the Major League injured list. MRI came back clean, and the hope is that he can begin throwing soon. (Last updated: Sept. 8)
RHP Trent Thornton
Injury: Torn left Achilles
IL date: Aug. 1 (transferred to 60-day IL on Aug. 19)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Expected to return to his hometown in North Carolina to continue rehab before likely returning to the organization in September. Underwent surgery on Aug. 5, four days after suffering the injury; expected timeline is six to eight months. (Last updated: Aug. 22)
