Pennant race baseball hits Chase Field as D-backs step into the Upside Down for final regular-season homestand of 2025

The D-backs final regular homestand of 2025 is set to be an eleven out of 10 with pennant race baseball for the third straight season along with several special heritage and themed games. The D-backs currently sit 3.0 games out of the final Wild Card spot and will face the San Francisco Giants next Monday-Wednesday in a matchup with Wild Card implications before taking on the NL East-leading Philadelphia Phillies next weekend, and the NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers from Tuesday, Sept. 24-Thursday, Sept. 26.

Chase Field will be turned Upside Down for a totally tubular evening featuring Stranger Things Night and 80’s-themed Postgame Fireworks for all fans on September 19. NASCAR will join the team in their last lap of the regular season on September 24. NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The first 15,000 fans will receive a co-branded rally towel courtesy of NASCAR and Phoenix Raceway and all fans will get to explore a variety of show cars and the NASCAR championship trophy on the plaza prior to the game.

Monday, September 15 vs. Giants: Roberto Clemente Day

The D-backs will join MLB in honoring the legacy of Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente by recognizing those who exemplify Clemente’s efforts, spirit- and cultural impact. Recognitions include the D-backs nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award, a player who best represents the game of baseball through sportsmanship, community involvement and positive contributions, both on and off the field.

Ceremonial first pitch honors will go to two special players from the D-backs 2025 Nike RBI World Series Champion baseball team and West Regional Champion softball team. Pitcher/outfielder Juan Hernadez, the 2025 Nike RBI Sr. Baseball World Series MLB Develops MVP, will take the mound on behalf of the baseball team and pitcher Isabel Hernandez, the Jackie Robinson Breaking Barriers Essay Contest winner at the 2025 Nike RBI World Series, will throw for the softball team.

Tuesday, September 16 vs. Giants: Run Night | dbacks.com/run

Mamma Mia, get ready to enjoy a night of Italian culture and food during the D-backs Italian Heritage Celebration. Fans can snag an Italian-inspired D-backs jersey through a Special Event Ticket Package and all fans can enjoy a special performance by world-renowned Italian Soprano Opera singer Ripalta Bufo and Italian cultural displays in the upper concourse (section 300). Chef Joey Maggiore, nationally recognized chef, author and entrepreneur, will dish out the ceremonial first pitch AND some delicious eats with a special Taste of Chase takeover September 19-21. All weekend long, fans can try some of Chef Joey’s Italian specialties, while supplies last, including the viral chopped sub, arancini, East Coast sausage and pepper sandwich, and tiramisu served in a mini-Diamondbacks helmet, of course, all available at Taste of Chase (section 130).

Saturday, September 20 vs. Phillies: Taiwanese Heritage Celebration | dbacks.com/taiwan

Indulge in rich Taiwanese culture during the D-backs second annual Taiwanese Heritage Celebration presented by China Airlines, hosted in partnership with Taroko Sports and Taiwan Tourism Administration and supported by ROF International Sports Marketing and the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Phoenix (TACCGP). Fans will receive an exclusive D-backs Taiwanese Heritage jersey with the purchase of a Special Event Ticket Package. China Airlines President Mr. Kevin Han Ming Chen and Taiwanese baseball legend Chang Tai-Shan will throw ceremonial first pitches. Sunday, September 21 vs. Phillies: STEM Showcase inspired by Honeywell | dbacks.com/honeywell

The D-backs annual STEM Showcase inspired by Honeywell returns giving kids the opportunity to win D-backs autographed gear by participating in various STEM displays around the ballpark. Groups including the Phoenix Zoo, Southern Arizona Reptile Rescue & Education, Mad Science, APS, Phoenix Coding Academy, Cactus Robotics, Arizona Science Center, and Mesa Public Schools will be set up during the game offering kids exciting hands-on STEM-related activities.
