Partnership Grants

Cardinals Care developed the Cardinals Care Partnership Grants to fund larger and long-term needs identified in the community through longstanding relationships with local nonprofit organizations that share the foundation's mission of caring for kids in the community. These grants are made possible in part due to the generous support of fans through fundraising platforms, including the Winter Warm-Up, 50-50 Raffle and Silent Auctions.

The Cardinals Family Room at Ronald McDonald House

The Cardinals Family Room at the Grove Ronald McDonald House opened in June of 2024. Cardinals Care funded the baseball-themed space where families can gather and enjoy amenities, including a Nintendo Switch generously donated by the Children's Starlight Foundation and MLB, while their child receives treatment at a local hospital. Approximately 1,300 families will benefit annually from the Cardinals Care Family Room.

The unit features a collection of 5,000 items and a dedicated Cardinals shelf featuring book selections made by Cardinals players, alumni and Fredbird. The Cardinals Care Bookmobile visits 15 Elementary schools in seven different St. Louis County School Districts and will make 140 visits to these sites until the end of the school year. The bookmobile will serve 30,000 students and circulate 100,000 books.
