Partnership Grants

Cardinals Care developed the Cardinals Care Partnership Grants to fund larger and long-term needs identified in the community through longstanding relationships with local nonprofit organizations that share the foundation's mission of caring for kids in the community. These grants are made possible in part due to the generous support of fans through fundraising platforms, including the Winter Warm-Up, 50-50 Raffle and Silent Auctions.

The Cardinals Family Room at Ronald McDonald House

The Cardinals Family Room at the Grove Ronald McDonald House opened in June of 2024. Cardinals Care funded the baseball-themed space where families can gather and enjoy amenities, including a Nintendo Switch generously donated by the Children's Starlight Foundation and MLB, while their child receives treatment at a local hospital. Approximately 1,300 families will benefit annually from the Cardinals Care Family Room.

Cardinals Care / Eye Thrive Mobile Vision Clinic

On Tuesday, June 25, 2025, the Eye Thrive Cardinals Care Mobile Vision Clinic was unveiled at the St. Louis Central Library. The $500,000 grant provided by Cardinals Care enabled a major expansion of Eye Thrive's reach, doubling its service capacity and allowing the organization to deliver free vision care to thousands more kids across the St. Louis region each year.

Every child who visits an Eye Thrive Mobile Vision Clinic receives a comprehensive eye exam and, if prescribed, glasses made on-site that day - all completely free of charge. The organization's mobile model brings care directly to where kids are - schools, libraries, and community hubs - eliminating common barriers like transportation, cost, and time away from work or school.

The addition of the Eye Thrive Cardinals Care Mobile Vision Clinic will make a remarkable impact on families in need of health care, allowing Eye Thrive to:

  • Make an additional 150 visits to schools and community centers
  • Screen an additional 15,000+ children
  • Provide Comprehensive Eye Exams to an additional 4,500+ children
  • Provide an additional 6,000+ prescription glasses
  • Provide an additional 1,500 no-questions asked prescription glass replacements
