Six-game homestand brings Angels and Dodgers to Globe Life Field

Arlington, Texas — The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Field this week for a six-game homestand featuring a showdown between the 2023 World Series Champion Rangers and the 2024 World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

The homestand opens on Tuesday, April 15, with the first of three games against the Los Angeles Angels, coinciding with Major League Baseball’s annual celebration of Jackie Robinson Day. To honor Robinson’s legacy, student-athletes from the Texas Rangers Youth Academy will wear No. 42 jerseys and join the Rangers on the field during the national anthem. The club will also welcome a number of city and community leaders to Globe Life Field for the occasion. In addition, all proceeds from the night’s 50/50 raffle will benefit the Jackie Robinson Foundation.

Fans who purchase a Jackie Robinson Day theme night ticket will receive a limited-edition No. 42 cap, while supplies last. The Rangers are honored to host a game on this important day, commemorating the life and legacy of Jackie Robinson.
