2025 HOPE Week: Day 4

The Yankees honored Carmine (16) and Vincent (12) Gagliano, two young Yankees fans from Brooklyn battling Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). The sports-centric brothers’ diagnoses prevent them from playing the games that they love, but they’ve stayed involved through announcing. With the support of their parents Jay and Cara, and older brother, Jayson, they pursue their dreams with vigor. To fight the disease, the family established The Strength of Brothers Foundation to find a cure and raise awareness. The Gaglianos visited Monument Park and took a behind-the-scenes tour of the clubhouse led by Yankees pitchers Max Fried and Gerrit Cole. The brothers also enjoyed a special broadcasting experience, serving as guest Yankee Stadium PA announcers in the first inning, then joining the YES Network booth for the top of the third inning and the WFAN booth in the top of the fourth inning.
