A new week of Minor League Baseball kicked off with plenty of fireworks. Leo De Vries, SS, Fort Wayne (SD No. 1/MLB No. 17)
Coming off his first multihit performance since Opening Day, De Vries carried that momentum into some history for High-A Fort Wayne. The 18-year-old not only hit for the cycle, he homered twice, drove in a career-high eight runs and collected a pro-best five-hits. TinCaps manager Lukas Ray compared him to NBA legend Michael Jordan after the game. De Vries has hit safely in five of his past seven games and sports a .959 OPS for the TinCaps. Full story | Gameday
Jac Caglianone, 1B, Northwest Arkansas (KC No. 1/MLB No. 20)
After his average dipped to .204 during a 1-for-24 stretch, Caglianone has culled together three straight multihit games after a three-hit night for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. This one might have had a little extra meaning for the 22-year-old, who doubled and singled off rehabbing Dodgers hurler Clayton Kershaw and reached safely in four of his five plate appearances. Caglianone's recent hot stretch has lifted his slash line to .288/.367/.515 with seven extra-base hits and 20 RBIs in 16 games. Full story | Gameday
Bryce Eldridge, 1B, Richmond (SF No. 1/MLB No. 22)
San Francisco's hulking prospect knows how to make an entrance. Playing in his first game of the year after opening the season on the IL with a wrist injury, Eldridge clubbed a homer in his first at-bat for Double-A Richmond. The 20-year-old is coming off a 23-homer, 92-RBI campaign in which the 6-foot-7, 240-pounder rose from Single-A to Triple-A by season's end. Story | Gameday
Marcelo Mayer, SS, Worcester (BOS No. 3/MLB No. 11)
Mayer's recent hot streak rolled on after the 22-year-old homered, doubled and drove in two runs during his fourth straight multihit game. Beginning with a career-high seven-RBI night on Friday that followed a 3-for-27 stretch, Mayer has gone 8-for-20 with three homers, two doubles and 15 RBIs in his past four games for Triple-A Worcester. He's tied with recently promoted Nick Kurtz (ATH No. 1/MLB No. 35) for the Minor League lead with 24 RBIs. Gameday
Jacob Misiorowski, RHP, Nashville (MIL No. 4/MLB No. 96)
Misiorowski had his entire arsenal -- which includes an 80-grade fastball and a 70-grade slider -- working for Triple-A Nashville in his fifth start of the season. The 6-foot-7, 197-pounder threw 11 pitches 99 mph or higher en route to recording eight punchouts over six one-hit innings. Misiorowski sports a 2.19 ERA and a .134 BAA through five appearances (four starts). Gameday
Josue Briceño, C, West Michigan (DET No. 6/MLB No. 91)
Briceño began the 2024 season as the Tigers’ No. 19 prospect. A year later, he is now ranked in MLB’s Top 100 -- and for good reason. After going hitless in his first game of 2025, the slugging catcher has recorded knocks in 13 straight contests for High-A West Michigan. In the Whitecaps' 10-0 win, Briceño crushed his fourth home run of the year, roped a two-run double and tallied a career-high five RBIs. Gameday
Jett Williams, SS/OF, Binghamton (NYM No. 2/MLB No. 54)
Williams has been steady from atop the Double-A Binghamton lineup since Opening Day, but has elevated his game in recent days. The 21-year-old extended his hitting streak to five games, tripled for a second consecutive contest and collected a season-high three hits to boost his average to .292 and his OPS to .909. Williams swiped a pair of bases, had two RBIs and scored two runs, the third consecutive game in which he's crossed the plate twice. Gameday
Demetrio Crisantes, INF, Hillsboro (AZ No. 2)
Crisantes filled up the box score while equaling a career high with four hits for High-A Hillsboro. The 20-year-old slugged his second long ball of the season, drove in three runs and reached safely in all five plate appearances for the Hops. Crisantes scored twice and also stole sixth base in seven chances. The Tucson, Ariz., native has an impressive 12-to-6 BB/K ratio through 15 games. Gameday
Hunter Barco, LHP, Altoona (PIT No. 7)
Barco's perfect start to 2025 continued with another dominant outing for Double-A Altoona. The 24-year-old struck out a season-high eight during his 76-pitch outing (46 of which were strikes), allowing a pair of hits and walks. The performance ran Barco's season-long scoreless streak to 17 2/3 innings, and he sports a 22-to-4 K/BB ratio and an 0.68 WHIP across four starts. Gameday
George Klassen, RHP, Rocket City (LAA No. 3)
Klassen showed he had a penchant for racking up strikeouts last year, posting a 13.06 K/9 over 22 starts. This season, he has reaffirmed that reputation. The 23-year-old fanned nine across 5 1/3 scoreless innings during his fourth start of the year for Double-A Rocket City, bringing his total to 17 strikeouts in the past two outings. Gameday
