What’s Happening this Weekend at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Mets, June 20-22

Phans Feeding Families Night and Food Drive and Welcome America Block Party on Sunday; Plus, Pride Night presented by The GIANT Company!

Come cheer on the Phils for a nationally televised three-game homestand against the division rival New York Mets at Citizens Bank Park! Here is a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the weekend:

  1. The series begins on Friday, June 20, at 7:15 p.m. with Pride Night presented by The GIANT Company, celebrating Philadelphia’s rich LGBTQ+ culture. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 5:15 p.m.; all other gates 5:45 p.m.
    • Pride Night highlights include the national anthem sung by The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus and a pregame performance by Philadelphia Cheer and Philly Cheer Elite at the Third Base Plaza.
    • Tyrell Brown, Director of Philadelphia’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs, will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
    • Stop by the New Era Phillies Team Store to pick up exclusive Pride merchandise.
    • It’s another Lights Up // Friday Night at the Bank! The Phillies will wear their City Connect uniforms on-field.
    • Prior to the first pitch, Miller Lite 12 oz. cans will be available at Miller Lite Liberty Landing for $6.99.
    • Travel advisory: Fans are encouraged to take public transportation and allow for extra travel time, as traffic will be congested from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. from fans leaving the Club World Cup game at Lincoln Financial Field.
  1. The Phillies take on the Mets at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:45 p.m.; all other gates 5:45 p.m.
    • Before the game, Alyssa Churchwell, a teacher from Pennsbury High School, will be honored on-field as part of the Independence Blue Cross Honor Roll program. The program recognizes teachers who are hitting it out of the park with their achievements both in and out of the classroom.
    • Fans can enjoy the pregame Budweiser Block Party with DJ HBK at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind Section 148.
    • At the end of the 3rd inning, 99-year-old WWII veteran and Purple Heart recipient Russell J. Sattazahn, from Schaefferstown, Pa., will be honored on-field as that day’s Hometown Hero presented by Toyota.
  1. On Sunday, June 22, the 7:10 p.m game is dedicated to providing hunger relief as part of the ballpark-wide Phans Feeding Families Night and Food Drive, hosted by Citizens, Philabundance and the Phillies. Here’s how you can support the Phans Feeding Families cause to end hunger. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:40 p.m.; all other gates 5:40 p.m.
    • Bring a donation of non-perishable food at the entrance gates. Recommended items include plastic jars of peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna and pasta.
    • Stop by the Third Base Plaza to digitally purchase food for the cause, courtesy of The GIANT Company, who will also be on site with fan giveaways. Those who donate will also have the chance to meet 1993 National League champion Mickey Morandini.
    • Virtually donate Philabundance’s most-needed food items by visiting the donation page or by texting STRIKEOUTHUNGER to 41444.
    • Participate in that night’s Phillies Charities 50/50 Drawing, of which a portion of the proceeds will benefit Philabundance.
    • Bid on nearly two dozen team-issued and game-used autographed memorabilia items during the Phillies Charities, Inc. Online Auction benefiting Philabundance on com/auctions until June 30. Stop by the First Base Gate at Sunday’s game to see the items in person.
  2. Before the game on Sunday, June 22, fans are invited to attend the Welcome America Block Party outside Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m!
    • This new block party event, held in partnership with Philadelphia Soccer 2026, is designed to underscore the anticipation and excitement leading up to 2026, an unprecedented summer of celebration.
    • Fans can enjoy music from Go Go Gadjet and Mr Hollywood DJ, sweet and savory treats from Philadelphia food trucks and more.
  1. Stop by the New Era Phillies Team Store for limited edition Phillies vs. Mets matchup items, including a limited amount of ballpark exclusive pins, pennants, baseballs, can coolers and 2-pack magnets featuring Kyle Schwarber vs. Juan Soto.
  1. Phase One of voting for the 2025 Pro Spirit MLB All-Star Ballot ends June 26! Vote up to five times per day for Phillies players at com/vote to send them to the All-Star Game in Atlanta.
