What’s Happening this Week at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Padres, June 30-July 2

Xfinity Fireworks Shows and Nemours Children’s Health Kids Run the Bases! Also, 2008 World Series champion Shane Victorino takes part in Strike Out the Stigma pregame event; Plus, Tugger, the Phillies’ new service pup-in-training for a veteran with invisible wounds of war, makes his major league debut!

The Phils are back for their last homestand before the All-Star break, beginning with a three-game series against the San Diego Padres. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding this week’s games:

  1. The series kicks off at 6:35 p.m. on Monday, June 30, featuring the first must-see Xfinity Fireworks Show! Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:30 p.m.; all other gates 5:00 p.m.
  2. After the game on Tuesday, July 1, at 6:35 p.m., enjoy the second and final Xfinity Fireworks Show of the season. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:30 p.m.; all other gates 5:00 p.m.
    • Before Tuesday’s game, the Phillies will officially welcome Tugger, a 10-week-old service pup-in-training, to the club’s off-the-field roster. Through a partnership between Team Foster and Warrior Canine Connection, Tugger will begin his lifesaving mission of becoming an accredited service dog, with the goal of being placed with a veteran with a disability. A yellow Labrador retriever, Tugger is named after 1980 World Series champion and U.S. Marine Corps reservist Tug McGraw. Details>>
    • Also before the game, the team will honor its June Employees of the Month.
  3. The series concludes on Wednesday, July 2, with the 1:05 p.m. Citizens Businessperson’s Special. After the game, children 14 and under are invited on-field for Nemours Children’s Health Kids Run the Bases. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 11:05 a.m.; all other gates 11:35 a.m.
    • Citizens customers score perks for banking with the home team by getting 10% off concessions when paying with a Citizens debit or credit card.
  4. For this series only, Brooklyn Dumpling Shop will be offering its 5-piece Korean BBQ dumplings at Coca-Cola Corner.
    • Paired with a Coke Zero Sugar, the dumplings include shaved ribeye, napa cabbage and a sweet and spicy Korean BBQ sauce.
  5. Starting July 1, bid on the Phillies Charities Online Auction until 6:00 p.m. on July 30, at com/auctions.
    • Features signed memorabilia from players including Alec Bohm, Nick Castellanos, Bryce Harper, J.T. Realmuto, Cristopher Sánchez, Kyle Schwarber, Matt Strahm, Ranger Suárez and Trea Turner.
