Come cheer on the Phils as they return home to take on the Chicago Cubs in a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park! Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights to kick off the homestand.

Travel advisory: Fans leaving the game this series should be aware that there will be lane closures from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on several I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) eastbound and westbound ramps, including those to U.S. 1 (City Avenue), Girard Avenue, Montgomery Drive and Spring Garden Street. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when travelling through these work areas. Details>>

  1. On Monday, June 9, the Phillies will continue their longtime efforts to strike out ALS during ALS Awareness Night presented by Asplundh at the 6:45 p.m. game. The night will raise funds and awareness for the cause and celebrate the Phillies’ 41-year partnership with ALS United Mid-Atlantic. See more details here>> Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:45 p.m.; all other gates 5:15 p.m.
    • Be in your seats by 6:15 p.m. for a special on-field tribute featuring an “ALS Lineup of Courage,” as those battling and affected by ALS line up alongside Phillies players just before the national anthem. Scott Asplundh, former Chairman of the Board and CEO of Asplundh and ALS patient, will be among the patients being honored.
    • Plus, the Asplundh family, employees and friends have made $365,000 donation to ALS United Mid-Atlantic to support the cause. The check will be presented by CEO Matt Asplundh and Chairman of the Board Steven Asplundh.
    • In addition, Kevin Bethel, Police Commissioner for the City of Philadelphia, will make a ceremonial first pitch.
    • At the end of the 3rd inning, ALS patient and former Phillies intern Michael Brown will be honored on-field.
    • Fans can help raise money for the cause by taking part in an online auction (at com/lougehrigauction) or by purchasing ALS Awareness Theme Night Tickets, Phillies Charities, Inc. 50/50 Raffle tickets or grab bags presented by Hatfield Quality Meats, which will include Phillies autographed memorabilia for $40 each at the First Base Plaza. Since the Phillies teamed up with ALS United Mid-Atlantic to Strike Out ALS 41 years ago, more than $23 million has been raised for patient services and research.
  2. It’s Temple Health Strike Out Cancer Night on Tuesday, June 10, at that evening’s 6:45 p.m. game. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:45 p.m.; all other gates 5:15 p.m.
    • Fans can learn about cancer screening tests and get information about cancer risk and prevention with Temple Health at the First Base Plaza and at their RV outside of the Third Base Gate on Citizens Bank Way.
    • Earlier this year, the Phillies and SEI teamed up to commission a mural by a local artist for display above Ashburn Alley. This year’s contest winner, Lindsay Archer, who designed the “City of Brotherly Love” mural, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game.
    • Be on the lookout for Phillies broadcasters Tom McCarthy, Ruben Amaro Jr., Ben Davis and John Kruk as they call the game from the stands in Section 201.
  3. After the series finale on Wednesday, June 11, at 1:05 p.m., fans 55 and older are invited to go onto the field for Independence Blue Cross Senior Stroll the Bases. Plus, the Phillies will host the HBCU Celebration presented by Citizens. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 11:05 a.m.; all other gates 11:35 a.m.
    • Join the Phillies in celebrating the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities! Before the game, stop by the Third Base Gate, which will have a mixer, step show and drumline showcase with Divine Nine fraternities and sororities.
    • Philadelphia Eagles linebacker, Super Bowl champion and Divine Nine fraternity member Nakobe Dean will throw a ceremonial first pitch as part of the HBCU Celebration.
    • At the First Base Gate, 1993 National League champion Mickey Morandini will host his annual Cornhole Classic to benefit Phillies Charities, Inc. He will be joined by fellow ambassadors Dickie Noles, Scott Palmer and Milt Thompson. Beat the ambassador and win a prize!
    • As part of the Citizens Businessperson’s Special, Citizens customers can score perks for banking with the home team by getting 10% of concessions when paying with a Citizens debit or credit card.
    • And the end of the 3rd inning, Petty Officer 2nd Class Anthony Dickinson, FCA who recently completed an eight-month deployment aboard the USS Jason Dunham, will be honored as that day’s Hometown Hero presented by Toyota.
  4. For this series only, Philadelphia’s Marinucci’s Deli will be offering its “Nucci Sandwich” at Coca-Coca Corner.
    • Paired with a Coke Zero Sugar, this sandwich features peppered ham, genoa salami, capicola, pepperoni, sharp provolone, prosciutto, red roasted peppers, lettuce, tomato and oregano. 5% of all purchases will benefit Philabundance to help fight food insecurity.
  5. While Schwarber’s Block Party is sold out, fans can still bid on dozens of items at the event’s online auction until Wednesday, June 11, at org/block-party. Benefits the Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes cause.
  6. Features the chance to play catch with Kyle Schwarber, a Taylor Swift-autographed acoustic guitar, an Eagles game day and Jalen Carter autographed jersey, a 2024 Scheffler Masters Flag signed by PGA Tour star and two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler and a Phillies team signed helmet and more.
  7. Phase One of voting for the 2025 Pro Spirit MLB All-Star Ballot has begun! Vote for Phillies players on com/vote until June 26 to send them to the All-Star Game in Atlanta.
