- Fall Programming at Texas Rangers Youth Academy Begins on Tuesday, Sept. 23
The Texas Rangers Youth Academy will host the 2025 Dairy Max Baseball & Softball Showcase presented by Five Tool for its athletes next Saturday, Sept. 27.
80 of the top baseball and softball players from the Texas Rangers Youth Academy are expected to participate in the invite-only event, which allows them to put their talent on display in front of evaluators from Five Tool.
The athletes will perform drills to measure exit velocity and power at the plate, overhand velocity and arm strength in the field, as well as broad jumps and timed runs on the basepaths. Five Tool evaluators will then compile the data to create individualized scouting reports and highlight reels capturing each athlete’s on-field skills.
After the showcase, the athletes will have profiles created in the extensive Five Tool player database, which is utilized by scouts and coaches across the country. The personalized video highlight reels will also be made available to each athlete to assist with their respective college recruitment pursuits.
