Philadelphia Phillies’ slugger Kyle Schwarber and wife Paige Schwarber to welcome fans, supporters and nonprofit partners on Wednesday, June 11 at Yards Brewing Co.
PHILADELPHIA, May 29, 2025 - There’s nothing like a summertime block party to bring a community together. Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Kyle Schwarber and his wife Paige will serve as hosts for Schwarber’s Block Party on Wednesday, June 11, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at Yards Brewing Company, continuing their support of first responders, military personnel and their families through Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes.
This year, Ryan Dempster, MLB pitcher and analyst for MLB Network, will bring his show “Off the Mound” to Schwarber’s Block Party. This one-of-a-kind talk show is featured alongside delicious food highlighting the diversity of Philly's neighborhoods, plus silent and live auctions featuring experiences, sports memorabilia and more. Among the dozens of items up for bid, for fans at the event or home, include the chance to play catch with Kyle Schwarber, a Taylor-Swift autographed acoustic guitar, an Eagles game day and Jalen Carter autographed jersey, a 2024 Scheffler Masters Flag signed by PGA Tour star and two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler and a Phillies team signed helmet, with a full auction listing here.
Kyle is expected to be joined by many of his Phillies teammates, as well as numerous first responders, military personnel and their family members. There will also be opportunities throughout the evening for guests to express their thanks to these neighborhood heroes who give to the community every day and sacrifice to keep us safe and free.
Tickets for Schwarber’s Block Party include food and beverages and a limited number are available for $250 at schwarbersneighborhoodheroes.org/block-party.
Funds raised will be used to support Philadelphia-area first responders, military personnel and their families, with grants being provided to nonprofits and funding for positive experiences like game day appreciation events and community visits.
Since the event began two years ago, more than $580,000 has been raised for Schwarber's Neighborhood Heroes, thanks to the generosity of event partners who help underwrite the evening and attending fans.
Net funds raised will benefit organizations serving Philadelphia area first responders, military personnel and their families, including:
- The Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation: promotes fire and life safety education and helps the Philadelphia Fire Department better protect Philadelphia.
- The Philadelphia Police Foundation: provides important support and resources to the Philadelphia Police Department to assist the Department in ensuring the safety and security of the city’s residents, visitors and businesses.
- Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation: a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the families of fallen and critically injured first responders and building healthy connections in the communities they serve.
- Team Foster: a nonprofit that fights for the unmet needs of injured and disabled veterans by bringing together civilians, veterans and highly trained service dogs.
