Major League Baseball will host its fourth free Umpire Camp of 2025 at American Family Field, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers, on Sunday, July 20th. The one-day camp is free to attend and open to anyone interested in pursuing a career as a professional umpire, improving their current umpiring skills, or learning more about the umpiring profession.
Participants will work with MLB’s Umpiring Department Staff – which consists of former MLB Umpires and current MLB Supervisors – to hone the skills necessary to umpire at all levels. At the conclusion of the one-day camp, select individuals may be invited to attend the MLB Umpire Prospect Development Camp at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida. This all-expenses-paid, four-week course convenes in January and provides invitees with an opportunity to compete for a position as an umpire in professional baseball.
Following successful MLB Umpire Camps held on April 26th in Scottsdale, May 17th in Dallas, and June 28th in Hartford, Milwaukee will host the fourth of five free camps scheduled for 2025. The schedule of upcoming MLB Umpire Camp dates and locations is listed below. Those aspiring to pursue a career in professional umpiring or looking to refine their amateur officiating skills are encouraged to visit MLBUC.com, where registration is currently open for the August 23rd camp in Salt Lake City, Utah.in Mil
