FLUSHING, N.Y., July 30, 2025 – The New York Mets announced today that Mets Events, the non-game day event arm of the organization, has undergone a repositioning and will officially be rebranded as Willets Point Entertainment, effective July 31. Willets Point Entertainment will continue to oversee all non-baseball events at Citi Field with the long-term mission of solidifying Citi Field as one of New York’s premier event destinations.

Named after the area surrounding Citi Field, Willets Point Entertainment combines the vibrant spirit of the Queens borough with the club’s historic legacy to transform life’s most important moments into unforgettable experiences. The rebranding will also position Willets Point Entertainment beyond the walls of Citi Field with a central role in the community as the surrounding area continues to grow.

“We believe in turning events into experiences, moments into memories, and visions into reality,” said Nikki Romolo, Head of Willets Point Entertainment. “Embracing our tag line of Where the World Gathers, Willets Point Entertainment expands the Mets brand beyond baseball by creating unforgettable events for both new audiences and longtime fans at Citi Field.”

Willets Point Entertainment will continue to evolve Citi Field as a world-class venue, providing a home beyond baseball games for concerts, festivals, corporate functions, community efforts, private celebrations and everyday connection.
