NEW YORK YANKEES TO PARTNER WITH NEW YORK CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO HOST 2025 BACK-TO-SCHOOL RESOURCE FAIR ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 29, AT YANKEE STADIUM
The New York Yankees and New York City Public Schools will host the 2025 Back-to-School Resource Fair for families and students of Bronx School District 9 on Friday, August 29 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Yankee Stadium. Media coverage instructions are at the end of this advisory.
The annual shared initiative is designed to ensure that local families have access to resources that will allow their children to excel throughout the 2025-2026 school year. Families attending the event will be provided with backpacks and school supplies, and more than 25 community organizations will be on hand to provide information about their services in the areas of food & accommodation, health & social services, youth initiatives and employment opportunities.

Please arrive no later than 1:45 p.m. to allow time for security screening.
MEDIA ENTRANCE:
YANKEE STADIUM LOBBY (adjacent to the Gate 2 Entrance on Jerome Ave. near E. 164th St.)
CREDENTIALS:
RSVP in advance is required for access.
Please e-mail Jon Simon (jsimon@yankees.com) to request access and provide: the name of your media entity, names of everyone in your crew and the functions of crew members (i.e., reporter, still photographer, videographer, etc.)
PARKING FOR MEDIA:
Complimentary parking is available for media only at the 164th St. Parking Lot. Advance notice is required for comped parking. Entrance is on the SW corner of E. 164th St. and River Ave.
