DODGERS TO CELEBRATE 12th ANNUAL LGBTQ+ NIGHT, PRESENTED BY BLUE SHIELD OF CALIFORNIA, AT DODGER STADIUM ON FRIDAY, JUNE 13 VS. THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers will play host to their 12th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night at Dodger Stadium, presented by Blue Shield of California, on Friday, June 13. Fans will enjoy a host of celebratory activities both before and after the 7:10 p.m. matchup against the San Francisco Giants. Tickets are on sale now at dodgers.com/LAPride.
The Dodgers are proud to continue their longstanding partnership with LA Pride to host the Pride Night party in the Centerfield Plaza, beginning at 5:10 p.m. until first pitch. Produced by non-profit organization Christopher Street West Association, LA Pride is Southern California’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration and producer of L.A.'s official, original Pride parade for more than 50 years.
Out in the plaza, fans will be able to enjoy a variety of musical performances and once again have the opportunity to participate in a “Vogue Off.” This year, Australian singer, drummer and producer G Flip will be the headlining performance on the Centerfield Plaza stage. G Flip makes high energy music that speaks to the masses and their most recent album took them on a huge worldwide tour, also securing them 9 ARIA awards and a GLAAD award nomination. Guest judges for the Vogue off will include actress and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause who is married to G Flip, and GLAAD’s Vice President, Communications and Talent, Anthony Allen Ramos.
Several notable guests are scheduled to be in attendance and participate in Pride Night, including British Olympian Tom Daley and his husband, Dustin Lance Black, an Academy Award-winning screenwriter and prominent LGBTQ+ rights activist, best known for Milk; Lance Bass, of *NSYNC fame and his husband Michael Turchin; and Jai Rodriguez, one of the original cast members on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., OutLoud Sports will once again host a kickball game in the Dodger outfield. OutLoud Sports is the nation’s original LGBTQAI+ and Allies recreational sports league, founded in 2007 and now serving over 60,000+ queer and allied players nationwide.
Following the Dodger game, fans will be treated to a special “Pride Night” drone performance.
