DODGERS RECALL WILL KLEIN
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Will Klein and optioned right-handed pitcher Jack Little.
Klein, 25, was acquired on June 2 from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for left-handed pitcher Joe Jacques. He made his Major League debut in 2024, allowing nine runs in 7.1 innings between the Royals and Athletics. Since being acquired by the Dodgers, he has made six appearances for Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 0-2 with a 5.06 ERA. In five minor league seasons, he is 13-11 with a 5.33 ERA in 181 games. He was drafted by the Royals in 2020 First Year Player Draft out of Eastern Illinois University in the fifth round.
Little, 27, made his Major League debut last night, tossing two innings against the Padres. Prior to joining the big league club, he made 26 appearances for the Oklahoma City Comets, going 3-2 with a 2.20 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 32.2 innings. He has been in the Dodger organization for five seasons, going a 9-7 with a 4.42 ERA in 128 minor league games. He was with the Major League team during Spring Training, making five appearances, allowing four runs in 4.2 innings. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the fifth round of the 2019 First Year Player Draft out of Stanford University.
