Tyler Nathan McKenzie Adcock
Graduated from South Granville (N.C.) High School in 2016...Was a two-way player at Elon University...Also caught and played outfield...After being drafted in 2019, did not appear in a pro game until 2022 due to multiple injuries and the canceled 2020 Minor League season...Underwent Tommy John surgery in 2021...After reading the book Know Your Why: How to Find Your Place in the World Book by Simon Sinek during his Tommy John rehab, had the phrase "know your why" tattooed on his right forearm...Gave him motivation, discipline and inspiration to keep going.

2024

Made three appearances with the Mets between June 29-July 5...Allowed seven runs in 4.1 innings... Appeared for Tacoma (AAA), Toledo (AAA), Syracuse (AAA) and Brooklyn (A+), but spent most of his season with Syracuse...Finished the season with a 5-1 record and 5.02 ERA (16 ER/28.2 IP).

2023

Made 12 appearances in relief for Seattle with a 3.45 ERA (6 ER, 15.2 IP), 0 walks and 11 strikeouts...Did not allow a walk in any of his 12 appearances...marks the franchise record for longest streak to start career without issuing a walk...Adcock was one of only two Mariners relievers with a 12+ game streak of appearances without allowing a walk in 2023...Did not allow a run through his first nine games, holding opponents to a .103 batting average against during that span...Retired six of the seven batters he faced, with only one reaching on an error, on June 12 vs. Miami...Optioned to Double A-Arkansas on July 19...Placed on 7-day Injured List by Double-A Arkansas on Aug. 8.

Made professional debut with the ACL Mariners and Class-A Modesto Nuts, going 0-1 with a 7.88 ERA (7 ER, 8.0 IP) with four walks and 11 strikeouts in eight games (two starts)... also appeared in the Arizona Fall League.

Spent the season on the injured list after having Ulnar Collateral Ligament (Tommy John) surgery on right elbow on April 13.
